I recently visited the Owings Mills, MD Wegmans. So disappointing! I just popped in to grab a bakery item for a customer and decided to grab a piece of pizza. The woman at the counter was rude and sold me a $4 piece of cold pizza. I love the Hunt Valley store but this one is not one I would recommend.

Danny, and even more so, his offspring Colleen and Nichole are running this place into the ground. Endless egregious price increases, smaller sizes, lesser quality, a general lack of anything on sale, a small selection of digital coupons for family sizes of their own brand. Of course, one then gets to check yourself out, and assumed you are a thief first. Hot Bar $16/lb., self-serve coffee (at the same price), the "gourmet" section in general is a joke! I used to grab something to eat before shopping - not anymore. Yet the Weggie family just sings LA LA LA LA. This is no longer my go to store. Wake up in Rochester. Yes, suppliers are to blame too. Even the employees don't look happy anymore.

Wegman's used to be an incredible grocery store, but my 2 Star rating is indicative of where it's at now. Long gone are the days when you could go in there and pick up groceries and eat good food in their sitting area. Fresh cooked pasta and sauces made-to-order, salads, desserts, etc., it was unparalleled in the grocery store industry. Now, everything looks like run of the mill heat and serve like every other store. Then their deli went downhill when most of the lunch meats and deli cheese consists of mainly their own brand. I want the good brands that I've been buying for years. Your brand definitely isn't better. I no longer buy from the deli. Then, although their store-baked bread is still the best in the area, they reduced the size of the loaves- but are charging more. Now, all throughout the store they're removing big name brands and replacing much with their own brand. I can't even go in anymore and buy fresh romaine lettuce because we're reduced to buying bagged lettuce, etc. Their produce department used the amazing. 1) I'm beginning to bake my own crusty bread so I'm already not driving out of my way anymore to go to Wegman's when I need it. 2) The price of your meat is too high. 3) If Whole Foods moves in (we don't have one locally yet), seasoned shoppers are going to put you on hiatus. You're not all that anymore, not for me, anyway. I started doing more grocery shopping closer to home.

Wegmans in Colleyville pa is a great place clean great selection great Employees but the powers at be in Wegmans decided to stop using plastic bags?? I'm puzzled on their decision please explained to me when 99.9% of the product you sell are in plastic to not use plastic bags to save the planet makes no sense or maybe Wegmans went woke or completely stupid to deny given you a plastic bag while selling product incased in plasic🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪

No more brewed coffee, now serve vending machine coffee. New self check out stations are way too close together. Directions on how to place shopping bags are different on the sign than on the screen prompting an associate to come and investigate . Chicken is now packaged so that customers cannot see what they are getting. These are just a few of the negative changes that have been slowly happening over the last few years. On the plus side they still have decent produce and seafood.

Worst cookie cake ever!! Spent $20 on a 10 serving size and it Was as hard as a rock and could barely cut into it. Wegmans needs to stop freezing everything, it's obvious you cannot freeze their cookie mix and then sell it!

The owner of wegmans may have bought their rating on Forbes list. Besides it being a grocery store with a lot of fancy bells and whistles meant to distract you. They fall short when it really matters. They have multiple locations filled with “bullies” as coworkers. I’ve spoken to multiple workers all throughout the DMV speak so passionately about how they had to transfer stores because the harassment was so bad and instead of HR and management getting rid of the harassers and helping the one who is trusting them to do the right thing they either fire the good workers or just transfer them. Leaving the bullies to continue their reign of terror on whoever they deem necessary. This is a huge problem for me because there is no way a store on Forbes List can be so dismissive of their workers. I went to one location and met 2 really nice girls who never gave me any issues always helped customers find what we needed kept the store clean and I never saw them talking to other coworkers. I asked them why and they shared with me that there is this girl named Shaniece Johnson at their location (Carlyle) that along with her department, Self Checkout, Pricing, and some Front End Coordinators bully them and look at them as the problem whenever they stand up against these bullies. At the end of the day I say all that to say this, if you are thinking about working at Wegmans and you are the type of person who stays to themselves and gets the work done you are at risk of being put into a toxic work environment and I do not recommend working at wegmans. Your children shouldn’t work there. With everything going on in the world today life is short and you shouldn’t spend it working somewhere where management cares less about your happiness and will allow your coworkers whom they can “at will” get rid of but never do from what I’ve heard and witnessed as a customer to treat you any type of way and have a suck it up attitude or a you have to go attitude with you. IT’S NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE. I’ve never seen those sweet girls ever again and they were great workers one kept the store cleaned I always knew when she was working because she kept the bathrooms in excellent condition as a flight attendant I’ve seen a lot of nasty bathrooms, now the bathrooms are always dirty there stuff gets hidden everywhere in there hair and pee is always on the toilet when I go to use it. The other sweet girl would help me out whenever I went to self checkout and would make me smile and laugh despite my rough days and these are the people wegmans gets rid of. You can bet money that Shaniece and her bully buddies are still at the Carlyle location and bullies just like her are at the other locations in the area I know them by name too. I’ve only mentioned this young ladies name because I’ve witness how nasty and hateful she is towards her coworkers and she needs to be fired. I’m not the first and I won’t be the last to notice and speak up on it. That day me and 2 other customers talked about how terrible it was to see how she treated that young lady. Every time I see Shaniece and her other toxic friends that work there I turn around and don’t even shop there and I have encouraged others to do the same as well. The toxic work environments needs to stop. I’m not sure if the one young lady took her life or not but she hinted at it last time I spoke with her she looked so hurt and defeated! You never know what someone has went through in life to get to where they are now. You never know what someone is internally battling. That’s why I’m so passionate about this because you should never allow something so damaging to go on and be on Forbes list and continue to keep the wrong people there. I witnessed everything on February 20, 2023, I’m not sure why it won’t let me select it. That was the last day I saw the sweet young lady.
