We have been using We Feed Raw for 4…
We have been using We Feed Raw for 4 months now and we love the ease of feeding raw they provide! Unfortunately sometimes we will get a few packages that has a weird smell to them which can be off putting. The price is also insanely high especially just for a 6 month old puppy, I’m talking almost $400 a month just to feed her.

Thank you for your candid review. Have you reached out directly to our customer care team regarding any offputting smells? All of our recipes contain organ meat, which can give the patties a distinct smell. Also, if you would like to adjust your pup's meal plan in any way, please let us know. I love the idea but too expensive to stay with it.
I love the idea and want the best for my dog, but I feel like it is very cost prohibitive. For a full diets its almost $315 per month. I even limited the different amount of proteins down to 3. I work in finance so I am a capitalist and understand the need to make a profit but that high of an amount for dog food is wild. I would love to stay with WFR but due to cost I'll probably switch to farmers Dog, Angie, Ollie or one of the other fresh food providers.

My shih tzu has become indifferent to the flavors and I’m having to add cheese and/pr lunch meats before he’ll eat.

My dog refuses to eat the raw chicken…
My dog refuses to eat the raw chicken and raw turkey. He really likes the raw beef. He grew bored of the freeze dried but eats that over the raw poultry.

Great system - needs better packaging though
Process was easy, only complaint is their packaging. Our dog eats 1/2 packet x 2 daily. To open the package you need to use scissors, there’s no way to seal it. Then we need to use a bowl- so the juice doesn’t leak in the fridge. I don’t want to use a ton of ziplocks and wash bowls and scissors 2x everyday. Wish they improved their packaging system

Shipments are often thawed
Shipments are often thawed, replacing incoming ones but causing a delay in food intake. The added vitamins are industrial and not real natural ingredients.

Additionally, our vitamin and mineral pre-mix is made up of both synthetic and whole-food ingredients. Because most of all these micronutrients occur naturally in our foods, we only add a very tiny amount of pre-mix to our formulas. Our formulas are 100% meat, organ, and bone with a tiny amount of vitamin and mineral pre-mix, which is added for full and proper nutrition. With guidance from our PhD animal nutritionist, we've chosen this pre-mix carefully and it is a proprietary WFR blend.

Everything has been great so far
Everything has been great so far. The one thing I would hope you guys can improve is the packaging. Almost every order I receive will have at least 1-2 packs that are ripped or open. In the past I’ve sent in photos and you guys were kind enough to discount the next order or give a credit to my account which I appreciate. If the packaging issue can be solved, y’all should be golden. Thanks!

Solved a problem
My dog would not eat the raw after a few months. I started putting the food in the microwave for about 1 and 1/2 minutes. He now scarfs it up and laps the juice. Hopefully this will continue as he has been a problem eater.
