I will not order We Feed Raw dog food again, after the trial packages are gone. My dogs eat it with no problem, but I find the food just too sticky. I use another brand of raw food that I prefer, so will continue with that. I have no complaints about the service, and the food was delivered well packaged, and frozen.

Transition went well and fast with my 11 month old Belgian malinois. I don’t know if this is maintainable I’ve a long term/complete life basis with the price being very high. I believe it’s roughly $200 per month. Compared to the highest quality kibble it’s roughly 3 X the price. There is no argument as to which is a better option but money doesn’t grow on my trees.

This stuff is the best! My pup loves it and has very healthy poops. He’s always super eager to eat, and there are seven different animal proteins to choose from. We select six: deer, rabbit, cow, chicken, turkey, and duck. Duck seems to be his favorite, but he loves it all! His coat is so healthy and shiny. He’s a happy, growing boy. Two cons: even though I selected online that he’s a growing puppy online, I had to call customer service to make note of that because the computer wasn’t sending us enough food. They were sending us half the amount…as if his full grown size was just 15lbs., but that was his growing puppy size. I wish someone was paying attention to when we filled out everything online that he’s a border collie puppy with a specific birthdate listed. The other con which is ongoing and unresolved is the horrible packaging. I have to thaw the meat patties in a ziplock bag, otherwise they leak all over the fridge. Many of the meat’s packaging will have tears or large gaping holes. We’ve decided to go ahead and feed him the stuff, and he hasn’t gotten sick from it (we’ve attributed his occasional diarrhea to other thing (hopefully we’re right about that)).

The ingredients seem fresh and high quality. However, I wish there was a wider variety of ingredients and options. It's good that there's a balance of muscle meat, organs, and bone, but there should be more different organs included. For instance, the beef food only has liver and kidney. I would like to also see foods with tripe, heart, lungs, spleen, pancreas, etc. It would also be nice if there were other healthy treats such as chicken feet, duck feet, rabbit feet, beef trachea, whole meaty bones, etc. These are great aids for dental health and digestion. The lamb and venison is likely a great quality since it's sourced from New Zealand, but I didn't try them this time since it's not eco-friendly to regularly feed something shipped from overseas. It's great that the beef, chicken, turkey, and duck are sourced from the USA. The digestive support powder included with the first box is a good idea, but since my dog is used to raw and has no issues transitioning between foods, it didn't make a big difference for him. He did seem to love the smell and taste. It's nice that a free silicone container is included with the first box. It's handy to have the exact shape and size you need. I do feel it's a bit flimsy. You have to hold it from the center and support the bottom. The top pops off fairly easily, which could lead to some messy mishaps. Love the eco-friendly packaging, especially the biodegradable foam. It's super fluffy and foamy when it dissolves. It would be great for sensory play for kids. I might save some for a Halloween party. You could mix it up in a cauldron with the dry ice on the bottom. Overall, good quality food with mindful packaging, but I would like to see more variety in protein sources, especially organs and healthy treats.

My dog loves this food when I cook it fully , i add chicken broth and some cheese on top and he devours it. I tried like the instructions said and give him less cooked food throughout 10 days the only problem is he absolutely refused to eat it when it was fully raw. He only eats strictly when the food is cooked and warm😭but either way he does like it more than any other food I’ve given him

My puppy seems to love the food! I love the delivery convenience! My only complaint is the packaging, I wish the plastic was easier to open, maybe a pull tab vs needing to cut it open every time.

Great quality, easy transition, free digestive supplement our box! We recently moved from Canada to the USA. Our normal raw food (big country raw) is not available in the USA yet. I was concerned about the transition as Aero has always been a very picky eater. She adjusted very easily and enjoyed all the meals so far (we did not order the chicken) but all others were tried. Only reason for 4 stars is the packaging is hard to open in my opinion. Her previous was vacuum sealed with an easy open pull tab, this one I struggled even with scissors. Also the price point is high but worth it, just an adjustment as the Canadian ones are a lower price point and the exchange rate is significant. Product is definitely worth it though.

As the owner of an extreme picky eater Shiba Inu I’m glad to see him enjoy We Feed Raw. He can eat a whole patty in one serving with passion. However the packaging can be a little difficult to cut open.
