I initially wrote a negative review…
I initially wrote a negative review about the insurance program out of frustration over my experience at the beach. We experienced constant 50 mph winds and rain (that did not meet the required rainfall totals for a refund). They were very good about keeping in touch with me and explaining their reasons. After the fact they did offer me a partial refund which was above and beyond because of the extreme winds. I would sign up for the insurance program for future trips.

Amazing and well worth-while insurance
Although I purchased the insurance, it really wasn't top of mind during our vacation. It did rain, we wore rain slickers, but still made the best of it and had a nice time. I was amazed that the day after we returned, there was an email stating we were getting a full refund. This company says what it means! I would highly recommend taking out this insurance. It's wonderful!

Wie ein Regenschirm
Die Wetterversicherung hatte ich für meinen Urlaub an der Ostsee abgeschlossen. Ha e keine Erstattung erhalten. Warum wohl.... Wetter super. Die Versicherung ist wie ein Regenschirm. Hast du keinen dabei regnet es, schleppst du einen mit brauchst du ihn nicht. Die ganze Versicherung ist sehr transparent und korrekt. Ich werde jetzt jeden Urlaub versichern.

Wir waren 5 Tage in Schottland
Wir waren 5 Tage in Schottland. 3 Tage war das Wetter durchwachsen. Ein Tag ab 14 Uhr Dauerregen mit nur kurzen Unterbrechungen. An einem Tag erst eine Stunde leichter Regen (17 bis 18 Uhr), dann 2 Stunden, daß ich nur sehr langsam Auto fahren konnte wegen Aquaplaning. Scheibenwischer auf Maximum, was kaum ausreichte. Die Mitteilung von Weatherpromiste lautet: "Wir haben etwas Regen beobachtet, aber nicht genug, damit dieser Tag für deine Auszahlung zählt" (2 Tage Regen für 3 Stunden 1 mm Regen waren zur Auszahlung erforderlich) Ich habe WeatherPromise Videos von der Autofahrt mit Starkregen und Ortschild und Navi mit Uhrzeit und Datum zukommen lassen. Ohne Erfolg. Auch eine Regenaufzeichnung (Kachelmann) hilft nicht. Es bleibt dabei. Der Regen war nicht genug. Für mich ist das absolut unseriös. Gerne hätte ich hier ein Video gepostet.

Schade, dass wir Sie nicht überzeugen konnten, aber jede Versicherung hat klar dargelegte, vertragliche Bedingungen und die waren für Ihre Reise eindeutig nicht erfüllt. Glücklicherweise gelingt uns das bei den meisten Kunden, wie die sehr vielen positiven Beurteilungen auf Trustpilot zeigen.
