Quick question?
I was wondering if there was any way to connect with other Wearsafe users in your gps location? Would be great to connect/alert other trail runners in my area so that they could help if I was in distress or be alerted to a potential situation. Thanks for your reply.

Thanks for the great suggestion! We don't have a way to alert people that aren't in your network currently but will definitely consider your idea for a future version. Thanks again for sharing your feedback with us.

Wearsafe
I really like the idea of Wearsafe, but I found it difficult to use at the same time as my blue tooth headphones.

Hi! During an alert and while Wearsafe Rewind is active, we use the default mic your phone is connected to. Smartphones usually turn off audio playback while the mic is active, just like during a phone call or video recording. If you're planning to use audio playback, disable Wearsafe Rewind from the More screen. If you'd like to troubleshoot this, please email us at [email protected]

Great device, but very sensitive
I think Wearsafe is a great idea. However, in the 2 days or so that I have had it, it has been activated 3 times, just by being in my coat pocket. This, of course, makes my contacts wonder if it's just an accident, or if something is seriously wrong. I didn't feel it vibrate, so I wasn't able to shut it off. I didn't know I activated it till my husband called checking on me. So, for now, it wont be worn until I can figure out a better place to wear it. I don't know if other users have had this issue???

To ensure this doesn’t happen again, we suggest setting your Tag to activate with more than 1 press. To change this setting, go to the “more” section on your Wearsafe App, then tap “activator settings” and choose from 3 options: - press the activator 1 time - press 3 or more times - press and hold the activator We hope this resolves your issue and you continue to use Wearsafe every day to feel more secure. I love the idea of feeling secure.
I put my Tag on my purse and without knowing it had gotten hit, so alarm was sent. My son called and said are you ok? Yes, why? We'll your alarm went off. I wish it wasn't that easy to set off. I don't know where to have my tag now. If I put it in my purse something will push on it. It seems no matter where I have it, I'll be afraid it will get hit. Hope you get what I'm trying to say. Thanks!

False alarms are no good, and making sure alerts are easy to start is also important, so we have 3 options for button-presses. You can choose between these options in the More screen, under Activator Settings. Single press, triple press or press and hold, whichever works best for you.
