WatchWarehouse.com is a scam
WatchWarehouse.com is a scam, a fraud, a con. Do not be fooled by the huge block letters in the horizontal banner on the website that say, "NO-HASSLE RETURNS AND REFUNDS." It's just not true. I bought two Tag Heuer watches on 9/3 for a total of $9200. I received the items on 9/5 and disliked the way they looked in-person so I e-mailed for refund instructions. I was sent a link to a page that said I'd be whacked for a $920 re-stocking fee. On no planet anywhere in our universe does this constitute a "no-hassle free return." WatchWarehouse.com is dishonest. Avoid, avoid, avoid this shady business. ******************************************** *** Update: (Friday, 9-13-2024) **** There is nothing even remotely defamatory about this review. The facts are 100 percent true and accurate, and the opinions are based thereupon. Defamation requires a false statement of fact and there are no false statements here. I bought 2 watches on a website that promotes "no-hassle free returns and refunds" and that promise was NOT honored. As for the insults, those are 100 percent First Amendment protected speech, deemed "Pure Opinion" by the US Supreme Court. See, i.e., Milkovich v. Lorain Journal 497 U.S. 1 (1990) 110 S. Ct. 2695. "Holding that pure opinion cannot constitute actionable defamation. "Pure opinion occurs when the defendant makes a comment or opinion based on facts which are set forth in the article or which are otherwise known or available to the reader or listener as a member of the public." See From v. Tallahassee Democrat, Inc., 400 So. 2d 52 (Fla. 1st DCA 1981). To remove this review would be a huge disservice to consumers and to read your readers. It simply is not defamatory by any stretch. Please review the facts as I have posted them and read the case law. I will be happy to provide you with receipts and screen-grabs to corroborate the facts. This merchant must be exposed. He cannot post a "no-hassle refund" policy and not honor it. ********************************************

All items over $4,000 in value will receive a restocking fee. We have this information posted all over the website, clearly stated at the top of our return policy, and we repeatedly emailed this customer regarding this policy (over 4 times) prior to shipping the watches to them. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the watches this customer received -- they took a picture of the watches in the dark and said that the watches appeared "brighter" on the website because we have professional photography and said the watches were defective and demanded a free return. it is very expensive to inspect and authenticate a watch if it leaves our office and is returned, and we cannot sell the watch until we do so. Especially almost $10,000 worth of watches, you must be certain you actually want the watches before making a purchase. We offered this customer free exchange for another model and they only wanted a return for a full refund, so they will have to pay the restocking fee. We consider this to be reasonable and very clearly stipulated. For any future customers that may be reading this, we highly encourage you to be certain that you are interested in buying an item when it is over $4,000 in value, as processing a return for a watch of this value is not a simple or cheap process.
