From the outset I have to say that I was extremely lucky to have guides to myself for the Eternity in a Day tour. Cecilia and Camilla were personable, knowledgeable and approachable and very passionate about their Art and History. By the end of the day not only had I learnt a vast amount of information about Rome but I had the pleasure of getting to know two locals who can I say were excellent ambassadors for Rome. Because I had also booked the comprehensive Colosseum tour, Cecilia asked if I wanted to spend a bit more time elsewhere. Of course I said yes and we were able to walk and talk comfortably enjoying all the sites. Then in the afternoon I had the pleasure of Camilla taking me around the Vatican museum. I would highly recommend this tour. I also did the Colosseum tour which was also very good (rain was a bit of a dampener) and I also did the Best of Florence and Uffizi tour with Bernardo in Florence, Bernardo was also very knowledgeable, passionate and easy to talk to.

We would recommend both tours to anyone looking to either have a taste of Rome or learn about the Vatican. We couldn't have asked for better tour guides!

It's not only the skip the line benefit, but having a guide is a trillion times better than renting a headset or doing it yourself - much more interesting, informative and easy. Also, we went to parts of the Colosseum that are otherwise closed off to most of the public without a tour guide. Highly recommended.

The tour guides were very knowledgable and easy to work with and involved our young children in their explanations

I highly recommend this tour as well as any of the tours they provide. had to change my tour due to a death in the family and they were very understanding and very kind.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the Vatican museums. Tour guide, Luigi, was fun, knowlegable, interesting & interactive & add much to the tour experience.

My husband and I booked 2 tours through Walks of Italy: the VIP Colosseum Tour with Roman Forum and Palatine Hill and the Crypts, Bones & Catacombs Tour. Both were WONDERFUL! Vincenzo was our guide for the Colosseum Tour and was outstanding. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of the history of the area (no small feat!) and had an engaging style and wonderful sense of humor. He really made the Roman age come to life for us. Joseph was our guide for the Crypts, Bones & Catacombs Tour. He was also outstanding. Like Vincenzo, he was an encyclopedia of knowledge, and was a wonderful story teller. He also deftly navigated the winding Catacombs of Priscilla, much to our relief. I highly recommend Walks of Italy. We really enjoyed our experience.
