Always a great experience

I was the only person to book a reservation for an evening tour and unlike some tour companies, tours of Italy reassured me they won't cancel a tour due to lack of numbers. Worked out being a great tour! Also booked a tour for the next day which I didn't make due to partying too hard the night before. However, tours of Italy having such a great attitude about showing tourists the great sites of their country offered me the opportunity of taking that tour at a later date of my choice. Not only offering great tours but showing great qualities in business!!

We went on a tour to Italy last year . Pretty much satisfied with everything, there were only two bad-weather days but as for the rest, the organization itself was fairly good,

Spent a wonderful afternoon witha small group of people walking around this ancient arena. Getting to go to areas others aren't allowed. Rosa was an excellent guide. A native to the region. Very knowledgable. If taking this tour be prepared to walk, lots. Stairs and walking up and down slopes are involved. Wear good shoes.

Oh my gosh, can not imagine all we would have missed without Tours of Italy! Used transfer in Venice, worth every penny! Once in Venice we did VIP Venice In A Day: Doge’s Secret Passages, St. Mark’s & Gondola the first day with Marco and Susan. We never walked around lost after tips from Marco (two teenage girls enjoyed having the best looking tour guide in Venice) Did Doge's tour with Susan (loved her) we feft like we got the tour no one else got! Truely secret passages! Also went to Florence and did 3 tours.1st) Uffizi Tour: Raphael, Da Vinci & Boticelli 2nd) Best of Florence: City Stroll, David & Duomo Underground, and 3rd Florence Food Tour: Markets, Tastings, Wine & Gelato. We loved seeing the David and the Stroll. Could have skipped the Underground. Teresa our tour guide sent us the a resturant that was our best meal in ten days which inculded 4 day in Paris eating yummy french food! Would never have gone without a tour guide to make suggestion! We are so glad we did the Uffizi with a guide, we would have missed SO MUCH. BEST TOUR OF THE 10 DAY was Food Tour with CORAL (request her!!) It was much more than we ever hoped for! Do it your first day in Florence, will help you get to know the city and its wonderful people!!! Thank you WALKS OF ITALY!

Costs a little more than other tours, but well worth it. The tour guide was fantastic and we accessed parts of the Colosseum that others could not see. Highly recommended.

Our favorite part of Rome, were the tours we took with Walking Tours of Italy. We took 3 tours , and each one was fascinating. We did the Twilight Tour of Rome, VIP Colosseum Tour, and the Vatican Tour. The guides were so interesting, and incredibly knowledgable. The groups were small, which made them very personal. When we saw other tours in progress as we walked about, we were so thankful that we chose Walking Tours of Italy for the personal touch.
