My experience at Walgreens with the employees has always been positive.
My concern is their monthly $3000 cash drawing. I never tried to enter until today. I scanned the QR code which took me to a website titled Fraavy which wanted my name and credit card information and asked me to pay $4.95 a month for a music subscription.
Their monthly $3000 prize offer appears to be a marketing scam for this subscription. If so, I think Walgreens must be getting a kick back from them.
Has anyone else ever tried to enroll for the monthly cash giveaway?

These PIECES OF DIRT don’t have a medication and sent me to another store and since it was so far away I was going to have it delivered. I waited THREE DAYS FOR MY INHALER THAT I NEEDED DESPERATELY THAT THEY SCREWED UP THE ADDRESS FOR … they DIDNT HAVE THE DECENCY TO LET ME KNOW WHAT WAS HAPPENING EITHER. THEIR STAFF IS MORE CONCERNED WITH THEMSELVES THAN TAKING CARE OF CUSTOMERS . Try complaining to the head office in DEERFIELD and you get the same garbage. The STONER OWNER OF THIS COMPANY IS ANOTHER CHICAGO THUG AND THIS IS WHY THE SERVICE IS SUCH LOW TRASH.

Walgreens sucks
I recently moved and Walgreens was the closest pharmacy. I need a particular type of of a common medication. I ordered it through them and went well the first few times. Then all of a sudden they gave me the type of medication that i react badly with. I ask the pharmacist if they can put a note in their system to prevent this in the future. She tells me there is no way to add notes like this in their system. I had a hard time believing this. Called 2 different locations and the pharmacists tell me this IS possible. Spoke with my location pharmacist and still tells me not possible even though I tell her the other stores say adding notes is possible. I finally spoke with the regional manager about this. Gives me the run around for weeks. Finally he says their system is flawed and nothing else he could do to help me.

Bought 2 packs of covid tests
Bought 2 packs of covid tests, $23.99 each. After I got home, I saw where Sam's cost is $14.88. Also, woke up next day to hear Biden has just released that they will be given free again! I decided to keep one, and return the other. And guess what? They wouldn't let me return it. I bought it Sunday at 4 pm and tried to return it Monday at 10am. Less than 24 hours. There have been other issues with Walgreens, and this confirms that I will never go back into their store again.

Two canceled Covid booster appointments, on extremetly short notice. There won't be a third. Company dropping the ball of taking care of immunizations.
I live in a rural area, with no current access to a pharmacy that distributes and administers the new Pfizer booster, and have to drive about 30 minutes to access any of Aurora, CO's businesses. This includes Walgreen's where I've shopped for small stuff for years. However, this company has really let me down. I'd scheduled a Covid booster shot online last week, so that I could get it done while I was in the city for other appointments and save some gas. They canceled on my while I was in mid-mammogram, hours before my appointment for the booster, with zero explanation. So I tried again, at a different Walgreen's location, and again planned to get errands done around the appointment, to save on gasoline costs. It's a sixty mile round trip each time I have to go into the city, and the costs of doing so add up. And again, I get a message left on my phone two hours before my appointment, saying that they've canceled my immunization, this time because their ONLY tech allowed to give the booster, is allegedly out sick. On a Sunday morning, on a day I'd hoped there would be less traffic at the pharmacy. No one else at their understaffed pharmacy seems to be able to operate a syringe, something that I'VE been able to do since I was eleven years old. If it's too damned hard to operate such a simple device, your pharmacists could always hand me the loaded needle and believe me, I can manage the injection myself. Been doing it for decades with insulin.
Jesus H. Christ on a friggin' pogo stick. If your company doesn't have any vaccine to distribute, then stop booking appointments, and then canceling them while offering up lame excuses, or no excuses at all. IF YOU CAN'T DISTRIBUTE MEDICINE AS YOU CLAIM YOU CAN, STOP MESSING AROUND WITH PEOPLE WHO HAVE TO MAKE SERIOUS CONCESSIONS TO MAKE APPOINTMENTS, AND THEN SPEND TIME AND MONEY GETTING TO THOSE APPOINTMENTS. Stop booking appointments that you don't intend to honor.
This is twice now. There won't be a third time, because I DO NOT TRUST YOU NOT TO CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT.
