Signed my grandkids up for the COVID vaccine 11 and 13 years old. Each one had a different version due to age. When we arrived for the appointments 11-20-2023 , I inquired about the vaccine for myself. I asked to check my insurance to see if it was covered. The pharmacist said, “ the vaccine is free for everyone.”While completing the kids information, the pharmacist tells me that they didn’t have the vaccine for the 11year old, and I asked about the 13 year old. She said, “ We don’t take their insurance.” Well, you just said it was free and now you don’t take their insurance! She goes on to tell me about the other pharmacies that I can try!

Madgy Morkos pharmacy manager at Walgreen's 4510 US 19, New Port Richey, FL 34652 after telling him we drove from Jacksonville, FL and the surgeon comfirmed the prescription would be filled and ready upon our 4 hour drive post-reconstructive congenital jaw surgery said and I quote , "I will not fill your prescription and I don't care, that is not my problem." He refused to help me and said I would have to call the doctor but he would not accept a phone call from the doctor and that he may not fill my prescription that I needed to change my attitude after I was upset b/c this was all previously confirmed before we left Jacksonville! He walked away without attempting to help or bothering to fill the non-narcotic ibuprofen to help with the significant pain. His female pharmacy tech started vigorously opening and closing the outdoor tray yelling at me to leave. I called the surgeon who called the pharmacy only to learn Walgreen's took down the incorrect information and should have filled the prescription! The surgeon filed a complaint and said I should, too. Upon going back to get the prescription, the male pharmacy tech apologized twice to me and said I should not have been treated that way and that he didn't know why Madgy refused to fill it. Then, apologized to me again. However, no apology from Madgy Morkos who walked to the back when I walked up, as did the female tech who didn't apologize and stayed in the back, as well. This is deplorable customer service. And both need significant retraining. - Dr. Golumbeck

I bought a Walgreens Deluxe Arm Blood Pressure monitor on 4/19/22 and I still have the receipt. The monitor stopped working in August 2023 and I put in new batteries and it still didn't work. It has a 5 year warranty that is stated on the box.I called Customer Service and got a recording and no one got back to me. I emailed Customer Service and was referred to Customer Relations and i emailed them. the Walgreens Customer Relations representative emailed back that in order to honor the warranty, I needed to sent a photo of the receipt, the model number and the serial number. I sent the photos plus a picture of the box that states 5 year warranty. The email from the rep said I would get a gift card for the amount of the monitor as reimbursement. After I sent in the photos, I got an email from a different representative stating i needed to contact Homedics which is the manufacturer. I emailed back that the product has Walgreens name on it and it is their product and I had been told that if I sent proof through photos, I would be reimbursed. All this interaction took a lot of time. I was just transferred from one department to another and in the end of the communication, I did not get what I asked for which was that Walgreens honor their 5 year warranty.

I am a physician traveling in Wisconsin now. I developed a febrile illness suspicious for Covid or flu. I sought help at Walgreens since we were traveling so we didn’t have a medical relationship locally. Walgreens was not helpful at all. I tried to make an appointment over the phone and was told to go to Walgreens.com to make an appointment. Appointments were over 24 hours out so at that point the illness would approach 48 hours and we were supposed to be traveling on before the appointment could occur. I went to the store where I had spoken to the pharmacist on the phone to explain the circumstances and added that I am in my mid 70s and also have chronic leukemia. No help from the pharmacist at Walgreens. The help requested is a simple nasal swab for flu and Covid that does not take very long, less that 5 minutes and a glance at a test card to determine the result. Walgreens will not likely miss my business, but I will not use Walgreens personally or professionally for any reason. Bad, unresponsive healthcare organizations need to be held accountable. Consumers deserve better.

If I could rate 0 I would. I ordered on App but there is no cancelation. They didn't have my distilled water and charged me for 2 rasinetts 23.00 5.99 for delivery. This Walgreens App is as horrible as the store.

After filling my rx for the last 6 months they "flagged" my account because I live in two states. My dr even called in and spoke to the pharmacy Manger Then the wait for my rx was more then a hour And then pharmacist said I would find a different Parmacy

This Walgreens has no respect for people's time. The wait is 30 minutes with one or two people ahead of you. I have wasted so much time standing in line for prescriptions and not be ready. Today, I was picking up prescriptions that were called in the morning before. It was not ready and would take 20 minutes more to fill. A couple of employees walk around like a chicken with their head cut off getting nothing done. Walgreens Pharmacist wants to walk out for bad working conditions. They need to move to Baytown because they don't work here. This location has constantly screwed up my prescriptions in the past. Everything about your operation is substandard and in need of improvement- from your incompetently run stores to your pathetic website - the anti customer experience! Every time I try to purchase goods from your diminished enterprise, I am thwarted at every level . Clearly , I am not respected or valued by this organization, so I’ll take my business elsewhere! Your comeuppance is long overdue and will be well deserved and celebrated. You’re actually making Rite Aid Look good by comparison, a previously unthinkable status for Walgreens - what goes round comes round ! Lol - this lame comments section doesn’t even work right .... or is that by design?
