I called customer service because I was running out of pills, and they sent me an email about a refill. They said that they just mailed it out. They said I could go to pharmacy and request a few pills to hold me over. When I went there, South Glens Falls NY location, the pharmacist said that I had zero refills, and there was nothing she could do! All I needed was maybe 3 or 4 pills. She then said I can't help you. Nice Christmas spirit. What goes around comes around. Be careful of bad Karma! Their average rating on reviews for this site is 1.4, what does that tell you?

It is ridiculous that you can’t manage to give your employees some discretion when a customer is buying alcohol. I am 60 years old. Clearly older than 21. Then, my drivers license expired 2 days ago (to my surprise) yet I was not allowed to buy alcohol. Fortunately I had a passport card. But I can’t imagine why it is any of Walgreen’s business if my drivers license is expired. Are you planning to arrest me? I will never go to Walgreens again. There are competitors at every store and it is just as easy and convenient to simply shop there. So glad the Walgreens driver police are on the job.

Checkout is so slow! I've never seen a slower frontend checkout process. Maybe it's the POS or all the questions. Every time I go to a Walgreens I swear it to be the last. The only time I go is if there is something only Walgreens has.

Switched to a locally owned pharmacy, and I should have years ago. Walgreens is a terrible pharmacy.

Horrible website, horrible customer service. Lists tons of products on the website that they may or may not have and then just cancels your entire order when they don’t. Takes them forever to figure it out too, leaving you no time to get the items elsewhere. Good luck getting your money back if there is a problem with the delivery. I had a box arrive so damaged that the items inside were open and spilling everywhere. Had to fight with them for weeks for a partial refund.

They have cut hrs at so many retail locations im not sure what the point of the brick & mortar stores are these days! *Also the hrs for each individual location are not kept up to date, every where online!!! What good is reading incorrect store hrs online??! I also don't understand we stand why no one, either locally or nationally, can fix a script that was inadvertently called in to a wrong location, to one that isn't open! It was also called to the correct obe, but I'll now have to pay the full retail price, my insurance won't cover it..not tonight anyway! If I wanted to wait until tomorrow or the day after to start the antibiotics I wouldn't have just spent $300 at an Urgent Care Facility & driven across town to get to a Walgreens that is open!!! PS Btw, the pharmacy tech that is taking forever to fill it & swears there's NO WAY for him to cancel the wrong script, said he'd send me a text when it was ready, without informing me I had to "opt in" to receive it! Good grief, either make these tech advances work right or don't be in business!
