I just found out that when you call the pharmacy at your local Walgreen's, you are talking to a call center. When you ask to talk to someone in the pharmacy, you get a call center. They basically tell you anything. Even e-mails come from them. I talked to someone a few days ago about 2 prescriptions I have. They told me they were ready and then told me how much they will cost. I went to Walgreen's to pick them up and was told only 1 was ready, not both as the person on the phone said. This is just one example of their incompetence. I used to do a lot of my shopping there. I had my reward points over $100. I won't shop there anymore. I'm researching where else I can have my prescriptions filled.

They patch me through to over half a dozen people on each call and never resolve any issues. Someone has committed fraud using orders with my email address and they couldn't care less. I've been trying to resolve this issue for weeks. I despise them!

They are the most disgusting, hypocritical and dishonest company ever! Their $35 free shipping is a brazen and thorough lie. Once you reach $35, it always says the item exceeds the total free shipping limit and it will automatically add the same shipping cost, if not more. It doesn't matter how light or small the extra item is. And they often have false deals, like this olive oil in clearance for example, if you add some in your cart and try to check out, it will always prompt a message saying you can't buy them regardless of the quantity. There's one time I ordered some toilet paper from them and it advertised one equals 4 regular rolls. I only realized it's a total lie when the item arrived. It's only like 25% larger than any other roll I've seen in my life at best. Their agents were so shameless that they just denied the issue when confronted with solid evidence. In addition, their app discount coupon never worked when I try to check out, no matter how hard or how much time I try.

Website said pharmacy at 698 Fairview Rd in SimpsonvilleSC closed AT 1:30-2:00 for lunch. I sat in drive-thru line 25 min and when I got to window at noon was told they were closed for lunch. Two people got involved arguing over it long enough they could have given me my prescription 4 times. Way to support the community Walgreens.

Do not use Walgreens app or set up an account. I recently learned that someone else was able to set up an account using my phone number. Walgreens customer service told me that they were not able to do anything about it. I had them delete my account, but they cannot provide any assurance that my personal information, including medical, vaccine and pharmacy info is not available to third parties. This is simple ridiculous and very dangerous

Went into my local Walgreens on 12-22. The Russell Stover and Whitman's Chocolate 8 oz boxes we're 9.99 buy one get one half price. On 12- 23 they were regular price $10.99 buy one get the other 50% off. 12- 26 they were posted regular price $9.99 now reduced to $5 a box. When I went to check out I was told their regular price was $19.99 and it was half price at $9.99. It was clearly posted $5 a box the employee wanted to argue about the price I said I'd like to talk to a manager. A employee came over and said the manager was busy but he would check the price. He told the young lady at the cash register they were marked down the $5 a box she wanted to argue with him. The customer service is very rude at the Walgreens in Monroe NC at the corner of Dickerson Boulevard. That's one reason I stopped shopping at Walgreens years ago because their prices never ring up what is posted. I won't be going back ever with this kind of customer service.

Had a refill for blood pressue medicine- good until April 2024. Pharmacy tech. said that my doctor cancelled the prescription! I had asked if walgreens could send that prescription to another pharmacy where they took our benefits. The doctor didn't cancell that prescription. Walgreens couldn't be bothered. I will never shop there again

Walgreens in Kissimmee FL has been out of my medication for 2 weeks. Told its due in 12/22/23 ... "hopefully" (it wasn't!). The tech apologized & gave me 12/26/23 ... WRONG! I called & spoke w/my AWESOME Pharmacist (Dennis) & he said "expected date is 1/26/24"😳 ... NO JOKE!!! So I called my previous Walgreens in Melbourne FL (1 1/2 hrs away!) & they have it in stock! I then called the 24 hr Walgreens in 'Poinciana' FL (way closer to me) to check if they have it in stock BEFORE calling my Dr AGAIN to send them a new script. I was put on HOLD a TOTAL of 1 hr & 30 minutes & 4x DISCONNECTED however, the 5th time a VERY RUDE Spanish accent pharm tech told me, "we're BUSY so you can tell the Dr to call to find out if we have it" & then HUNG UP on me! Are you SERIOUS?! BTW, all the 'disconnections' came AFTER 16+ min of listening music, hearing how VALUABLE their customers are (L🤣L‼️), then hearing their ph ringing 8+ times & DISCONNECTED again & again so you NEVER get the chance to leave the review/survey about your customer experience on their phone line! After the tech w/Spanish accent hung up on me, I called back. A pleasant lady answered & didn't know the name of the tech so I asked for corporate ph # (she connected me to corporate escalation dept). Another nice lady explained the drug shortages I'm experiencing is a wholesaler and/or manufacturer issue & also stated for 'security' reasons Walgreens CAN'T check their other Walgreens for 'in stock' drugs ... REALLY?! You'd THINK by NOW Walgreens Corporate would have high tech SECURITY SOFTWARE in place given the FACT we've had a SEVERE DRUG SHORTAGE SUPPLY ISSUE for 2 yrs😤!!! Well NOW that I KNOW it's a Corporate problem that's NOT being solved & their Wholesalers, I, along w/MANY other family members experiencing the SAME issues will END our decades long relationship w/Walgreens!!! I suggest others do the same.
