Went to Walgreens on west road and Airlines tonight had the worst experience in my life with this so call Rude Employee he said he is the assistant supervisor I tried to pay with a gift card from P&G $5 the young man was having difficulties so he called for help I was purchasing 4 simply Tide so I was doing 2 at a Time all 4 on the counter my cart is empty. The supervisor he said his name is Alex said oh no it comes in a Catalina. I said sir I’ve been doing this for years. He tried he said it’s not working. Like I’m a criminal talking to me stupid like I’m illiterate I said u behind the counter the screen is in front of u I’m the customer there is nothing in my cart all im doing is trying to pay. He asked the young man is this her first transaction? He said yes . Well this is better this is all I want to know . I said I told u the same thing. He spoke to me in a smart Alec way. And I asked who the f##k u think u talking too. 11 :20 in the night he refused my gift card and nmy debit card was in the card reader. He canceled and tell me take my card out and get to F##K out his store, now all the customers are Hispanic the security is a young black guy I’m black . And u talking to me like I’m no one refuses my payment and to sell me. I’m a loyal customer for years all my prescription’s children and grandchildren prescriptions goes there. My meds alone is probably more than his paycheck. I no longer will be doing business with Walgreens and I’m not leaving this matter corporate has to know about this.

Walgreens is terrible. Customer service is terrible. They don’t care about patients. Avoid it all costs. At the bottom of this review, there’s a checkbox for them to be notified. I guarantee you they will not care.

I suppose I should have learned my lesson by now and not use Walgreens Contacts for my needs. This is the third time I have ordered and paid for expedited overnight shipping, only to have the order delayed. My most recent order was placed on June 8. I received a confirmation that day that the order was confirmed. On Monday, June 10 at 11:04am, I received another email stating that the order had been processed and will ship soon. As I had paid for overnight shipping, I certainly expected it to be shipped that day, or the following day at the very latest (since your correspondence clearly stated that the order had been processed already and was awaiting shipping). I have spoken to your customer service agents twice on the phone - the first stating that it was at the distribution facility and would be shipped on Tuesday - the second stating that she didn't know when it would be shipped. It is now Thursday and still no contacts. It is beyond comprehension how they can offer and charge for overnight shipping when that obviously means nothing. It isn't simply a matter of refunding the shipping charge when I compain - it is the fact that I - in good faith - have used this company for contact needs and have repeatedly been disappointed in the service. I would recommend using another company for your contact needs. I will be utilizing 1-800 contacts or lens direct in the future, or just going directly to a local eyeglass store.

I have been taking two 10mg tablets of Amitriptyline per day for many years. When I picked up my refill I didn’t check the bottle until I got home. Instead of 10 mg tablets they gave me 100 mg tablets which means I would be taking a dose of 200 mg instead of 20!! It could have been lethal. If it were the first time I took this medication I wouldn’t have known it was an error. Walgreens has been handling my refills along with many other prescriptions for years. So they have a record of all my drugs. I returned the pills to the store. The pharmacist (Paul) said his assistant filled the prescription and he checked it. He asked me several times if I took the new prescription. I told him, if I had I wouldn’t be there to return it! This occurred @ the Walgreen’s store 8906 Arlington Rd. Bethesda MD 20814

Another strike against the Niagara Falls store #13751. Today, 6/5/24 at 1:45, pulled up to the drive through to pick up my needed prescription only to find a sign in the pick up window saying something to the effect of there was no pharmacist on duty at this time. No pharmacist on duty at 1:45 in the afternoon? If I could have voted zero stars I would have. Good grief Charlie Brown!

When your Walgreens used to be convenient, but now you can't even get a bottle of dish soap without having to wait for somebody to Unlock it. You're no longer convenient. Your punishing your customers for the thieves and I won't be punished for somebody else's actions so I will drive an hour to stay away from your store.

There are many different Walgreens in the area, but this one is the very, very worst that I’ve seen. The vast majority of products are under lock and key, which is made worse by the fact that there is little or no staff available to get the products. The lamentably small amount of products that are not under lock and key include the beverages, which when you look at them, you can see why immediately. The cooler is practically empty. There have also been multiple times that I have come to this store during business hours only to be sent away because they said they were short staffed. They have plenty of money to put into expensive security measures, but none to hire sufficient staff. They make a lot of mistakes when they check people out as well, it’s never in the customers favor either. If you try to approach a manager with any kind of concerns, you can be sure to meet a very defensive person. This place is the worst of the worst.

This is got to be the most mismanaged and worst Walgreens in the country, their phone skills are horrible and deplorable and in-store visits are almost just as bad. I think as big as Walgreens is as high their prices are they should have better customer service and treat customers better on the phone and in the store the service on the phone is absolutely sickening. Something must be done. I gave him one star because there was nothing less than that. They don’t even deserve one star.
