We had people in line at the check out when all of the sudden checker says come back to photo's. Every rude person in there cut to the front where people were waiting to check out got pushed to the back. You cant even have a manager that would help!!! Evidently not in Daytona Beach Shores... GUESS what it is memorial weekend and you could not add staff? Shame on you

If no stars was an option they would…
If no stars was an option they would have gotten just that. I have been on the phone for over 1 hour going 1:30 the phone trying to reach a pharmacy technician. I been waiting on medication to be ready for a whole day. Mind you I have already showed up to the pharmacy and they said they weren’t even working on it but will get it ready and it hasn’t been ready. They are so unprofessional and don’t care about anything. If you want a hassle for your medication send it their way. NEVER AGAIN.

the pharmacy dept's Robot line is…
the pharmacy dept's Robot line is terribly flawed and dangerous. On 5-18-25, I repeatedly called the pharmacy automated line to get the status of my prescription pick up. From morning to afternoon, I called repeatedly and was told the "prescrip. was being worked on AND they would let me know when it would be ready". Finally, late in the afternoon, I called again and was told that it was still being worked on AND ** that I should come by and "pick it up". I was puzzled at the conflicting response and called again. Same automated and insane status rept and that it was "NOT ready" and yet -- "it WAS ready". Conflicting info. Now I called the store cashier about this and she told me the pharmacy was now closed. Thanks Walgreens for your incredible rudeness, inaccuracies, & greed. I will tell everyone I know and the Internet as well. I will seek out a different pharmacy. This beef with Walgreen's is a long standing one. I should have left last year while things were better in the pharmacy.

Walgreens especially Summer/Perkins
Walgreens especially Summer/Perkins in Memphis is an absolute joke. Not sure how anyone in the pharmacy has a license to practice. I will be going elsewhere, cannot stand wasting anymore time on their incompetence.

Poor Customer Service
I am a counselor with the Missouri SHIP program. A client came to my office concerned that he was overcharged for his prescription. I waited with him until 2 PM to call the local Walgreens, as that is when the pharmacy reopens after lunch. After a 20-minute hold, a staff member answered. I began explaining who I was and asked whether Walgreens bills MO HealthNet (Medicaid) as secondary after Medicare Part D. The call was abruptly disconnected.
I called back and asked to speak with the manager. Lyndsey answered, said she’d transfer me to the pharmacy, and placed me on hold. A different employee picked up; when I asked for Lyndsey, she said Lyndsey was in the pharmacy. I was placed on hold again and then connected with Sydney, who I had to re-explain everything to. I provided the client’s name and medication. Sydney said the claim was processed through both Part D and Medicaid, and the copay was $4.90. I explained this amount indicated MORx hadn’t covered its 50%, and that the client should owe only $2.45. Sydney insisted he could "do the math" and was dismissive.
The client later visited the store with his receipt and ID and was told by staff that "the woman who called tied up the phone lines." He corrected them, explaining he was present during the call and it was Walgreens who placed us on hold. Another staff member rudely asked for his insurance cards again, despite him previously providing them. Frustrated, he mirrored their attitude and voiced his concerns publicly.
This incident highlights a need for retraining at this store, particularly regarding MORx and customer service. It’s not the first such report I’ve heard, and in a small community, these issues quickly damage reputations.

App problems and also store excuses if phone tree works.
Yet again I have to call and deal with issues about Rx. Whoever designed the App. Please do not give up your day job!! Because the App sucks. Tells me store is closed when it's open, tells me Rx's ready for refill and then cancels them with NO explanation till you fight with phone tree to speak with someone at store (normally between 10-20 mins on hold). I then finally get told this month (after months and months of issues) they go by pick up date, not order date. So if I can't get there right away I have to hope I can stretch my Rx's.

I’ve shopped in this Walgreens for…
I’ve shopped in this Walgreens for eight years (Walgreens on 46 and Bus 35 in New Braunfels, TX). I had a sweater on today because it’s cold in the store. A lady comes up and asked if I needed help, and I replied I was browsing. I went through every aisle in the store and then noticed a couple of them, including the lady that asked me if I needed help, standing around where I was at. A Second Lady stuck her head around the corner asking if I needed help, and again, I didn’t. When I went to get in line the First Lady walked up to me, stood really close and said if I was planning on stealing, don’t. I’ve never stolen anything in my 54 years. She profiled me because I had a sweater on because the store is cold. I was so hurt and humiliated I don’t think I will ever go back in there and I spend almost 500 a month in that specific store. This was the only day I’ve ever been asked if I needed help in eight years of shopping at this location. I filed a complaint on her with headquarters. I am a remote paralegal and my fun time was going into Walgreens to just browse and shop. Not anymore.
