Walgreens Policies are Awful
I was told that I could not return my faulty Walgreens product after 30 days. I was told this about a faulty heating pad. Walgreens people were fine. The company and it’s policies are awful.

It would be very nice if the workers at Walgreens would have some kind of compassion for hearing impaired customers and not be so rude. I don’t mean to keep asking the same questions over and over I tell you guys I can’t hear, but y’all are just not able to be nice to hearing impaired learn some Customer Service skills for the handicap.

I used Walgreens Virtual Care for a prescription, assuming a trusted brand would mean transparency and continuity. That turned out not to be the case. I was given a short prescription with no refills and then told I’d need to pay for an entirely new visit just to continue a routine medication for an ongoing condition. This wasn’t made clear upfront. There’s nothing illegal about this, but it’s inefficient and far more expensive than many other telehealth or primary care options that handle ongoing care more transparently. It’s also worth being mindful of where you share personal and medical information. Telehealth requires providing sensitive data, and data breaches are common across the industry. Minimizing unnecessary accounts and data exposure is something consumers should consider. I was able to have my account deactivated , but my info is out there in yet another database that will eventually get breached. Lesson learned; if this isn’t the right service, do not sign up! If you’re considering this service, know that there are more cost-effective and straightforward alternatives. I expected better from a brand like Walgreens.

As of September 24, 2025, I have deliberately removed all of my positive reviews from Trustpilot. This was not because those businesses failed me, but because Trustpilot itself has proven corrupt. They permanently censored my legitimate, fully documented review of eBay (submitted as a registered LLC seller with proof of business activity). Even after providing evidence, their “Content Integrity Team” declared the case closed, keeping my review offline while allowing companies like Rakuten to challenge or suppress critical feedback. By leaving only my negative reviews here, I want to make clear: the imbalance is created by Trustpilot, not by me. My contributions were balanced across 1–5 stars until Trustpilot chose to silence the critical side. This platform does not operate in good faith. I will no longer post reviews here. Instead, I will be reporting my findings to regulators and leaving reviews on platforms Trustpilot cannot manipulate. Update: Trustpilot has begun suppressing my documented reviews, including those backed by proof of identity and purchase. This platform no longer protects transparency — it filters what companies want shown. All future updates will be published off Trustpilot so the full record cannot be buried. Walgreens once felt worth the premium, but those days are gone. Lately I’ve had rude service, long delays, and even one night where staff just walked away after I’d been in the drive-thru line for 30 minutes — no warning they were closing soon. On top of that, the inventory and convenience that used to set Walgreens apart just aren’t there anymore. For the prices they charge, I expect far better. At this point, it’s hard to justify choosing them over competitors.

Well, I see I’m not the only one that hates Walgreens. I come in to pick up my prescriptions and show teddy that when I select a prescription it has a little bottle box on it and I have to restart the app. Not customer friendly Teddy says people have been telling him about it and I’ll need to contact Walgreens. I tell him that’s what I’m doing, telling him the apps messed up. He tells me he doesn't have anything to do with the app, I’ll have to contact Walgreens them about the app. iI it easier for me to do that when I don’t know who I’m supposed to contact or for this kid that works there to contact the necessary party. What is wrong with customer service that no one thinks anything is their job except to ring you up and get you out of the dead pharmacy???

Walgreens has been nothing but headaches. Prescriptions are always late, their website is glitchy, and the customer service just gives excuses instead of solutions. It’s like they couldn’t care less about getting it right. Frustrating at every turn. 💊💸😡

Great prices and specials. No complaints there. I requested SHIPPING, as there was nothing that I needed immediately. But no, I started getting text messages telling me when my DoorDash driver would be there. I absolutely did not request 1 hour delivery for this reason! Then I’m getting texts and multiple phone calls from Walgreens and the driver that they are having trouble finding my address, where should they leave the items, and my fav, “I was told to hand it to you.” WHAT?!? I could not respond to any of these, as I was (trying) to work without constant unnecessary interruptions. Literally to the point that I was thinking I couldn’t care less if they take it back to Walgreens. That is a HORRIBLE position to put both the drivers and customers in. UPS, Post Office, FedEx - all put deliveries on the porch and leave, and do not require a tip. Ta da! With DoorDash I can see why they would have to wait (within reason) if they are delivering food. But now I’m expected to tip for a delivery I didn’t ask for?? Same thing happened with Walmart once but much worse. I was on a business call, certainly not expecting any deliveries, but the DoorDash driver kept yelling and banging on my front door for well over 10 minutes. The person I was talking to could hear this ridiculousness in the background, which was very embarrassing! I finally had to stop my call (BEYOND inappropriate when it’s a therapy session) to open the door and retrieve the several canned goods that were clearly going to expire on my porch. TERRIBLE! Apparently Walmart has stopped using DoorDash (or vice versa), but Walgreens has not. With Walgreens I specifically requested SHIPPING, to avoid this same ugly scenario. I will never order online from Walgreens again. Who needs that kind of aggravation for a non-ER??
