Once upon a time, there was an awesome pharmacist at the Aliso Viejo, CA, location. I wonder if she resigned out of frustration or they let her go because she was customer-oriented. The last two interactions were Kafkaesque - the first one did not accept a prescription from my phone screen, even though it was signed. The other one told me that it would take the pharmacist 1-2 HOURS to call the vet to check the doses of the prescription. All with zero facial expression, or a "Let's figure this out"-attitude. Seem like a government employee in a communist country. "I can't think outside the box and try to be helpful." Now off to find another place that might be more helpful.

I only gave one star because i can't give negative stars. Customer service is awful. The happily took the $ for the vaccination contracts and promptly forgot they had customers. Then I ordered contacts only to find out after my 5th call that they were backordered one month. I asked that they overnight them if and when available. They were willing to do nothing. Stay far far away from this horrible company. I have transferred all of my prescriptions out and will NEVER order contacts again.

I cannot begin to tell you how unreliable our local Walgreens can be. And impolite to say the least. Today was the last straw. I called in for refills this morning. My husband went to pick them up after 8pm and they tried to tell him no one had called for refills and that I’d needed prior authorization for one med. Okay. THAT was a lie. He was there when I called. I have been on auto refills for months. Just completely tired of them being so unreliable and unprofessional.

The store in Brentwood CA do not honor advertising prices posted in Walgreens web page. They instruct you use its app instead.

Phone tree hung up 3 times before I could get to a person regarding my prescription.

I was actually charged more than what my receipt said. I look at my credit card statement and it says I paid more than what my receipt says on a pick-up order. Very odd. Also extremely RUDE customer service.

I had a prescription called in on a Saturday morning. I waited a couple of hours and then went to the pharmacy to make sure they actually had the drug in case I needed it moved to a different pharmacy. The young lady checked and they had both the prescription and the drugs in stock but they were busy and it would be a couple of hours. I went home and waited for them to text me. After 2 hours I checked their automated system and it said it was still in process. I waited one more hour and called in again and the recording said it was closed. I called and the lady said the pharmacist had to go to the hospital and hung up on me. I called back and a different person answered. I asked to speak to the manager and she said he wasn’t there and I asked what I needed to do to get the drugs. She said have the dr move it to another pharmacy. It unfortunately was not possible so we waited until Monday morning. I got to the pharmacy when they opened to check on the status. They proceeded to tell me that they just got the prescription and they were closed on Saturday (both lies). I called her on it since I was at the pharmacy on Saturday. I understand things happen but to blatantly lie about it when you are supposed to be dealing drugs makes me worry what else they try and get away with. My advice is don’t use the Walgreens in Avon, CO.

My Walgreens location was closed for holiday! Went to transfer prescription to a 24hour location and they cant do it......... its freaking Walgreens! So i guess Walgreens should change their commercials saying if your outta town sorry we can not fill your prescriptions because its not a life saving medication!
