Horrible. I set a COVID test appointment for Monday only to get an email Monday morning that my appointment was canceled

I utilize the option Walgreens Pharmacy offers, which is to have your medications shipped to you. I’ve been out of my medication for heart failure for weeks and when I checked the tracking today, it has not been scanned by FedEx. So it’s been MIA since 8/3. Today is now the 15th. Courtney was great in trying to assist me but there was only so much she could do. Even if they reissue the RX, I now have my identifiable Hipaa data out there floating around which is a huge no-no. So now I have even bigger concerns than just my health. Best advice, don’t trust the shipping option bc regardless of who drops the ball, it’s the patient who suffers.

Pharmacy service is AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!! Very incompetent, not reliable and very poor follow-up with their customers if they don’t have the medication, they tell you that they have to check their manufacture or vendors and they NEVER follow up. There is no sense of urgency for customers who need medications to survive. We don”t get the same despicable service from Walmart pharmacy who’s very caring. Waldgreens please take lessons from Walmart when it comes to pharmacy. You are truly the WORSE EVER!!!!

Summary of experience:I really wish to hear from someone at Walgreens. We had Covid PCR tests taken last Thursday at 10:00 AM. Two tests. One for me and another for my wife. All went fine, we handed the tests in at the window and we were told that they go out FedX express and we should have our results in 24 to 48 hours. We made plans to cross the Canada border and to find lodging etc. We figured we would drive to the border on Saturday figuring that our test results would arrive along the way. THEY DID NOT. We called the Walgreens to find out what was going on. It turns out that the samples taken last Thursday morning NEVER WENT OUT! and NO ONE EVER CALLED US. In fact the samples were sitting in the store. The excuse being that FedX would not pick them up! They claimed that they had called again and again. How weird is that? We had to lose our reservations and drive ALL THE WAY BACK HOME since it is a requirement to have a PCR test in hand to cross the border. We stopped at the store on the way back and we were lied to on several accounts. We were told there was no tracking number (there was) and the person at the window told us she was the manager when in fact she was not the store manager. We called FedX to see if wee could get them to pick up the samples today otherwise our vacation plans were kaput. Finally the real manager came out, and we worked with him and the tracking number to get FedX to come before the end of the day (it was 3:00 PM by now). WHY DID NO ONE JUST DRIVE THE PACKAGE TO THE NEARBY (LESS THAN 1/4 MILE AWAY) FEDX STORE AND DROP THEM OFF. WHY DID NO ONE CALL US TO LET US KNOW OUR SAMPLES WERE DELAYED??? Oh and BTW, your automated phone system JUST MAKES LIFE DIFFICULT with multiple selections when a real person would be REAL customer service. I can only imagine older people trying to use this system. COMPLETELY UNWORKABLE!!! These automated "customer service" systems DO NOT WORK. Pay a real person to answer the phone and help people with real problems. These systems are rigged to hang up/put you on hold and frustrate the caller so they give up. Come on...we are better than this!

Was scheduled for COVID test got off work early got there to the scheduled time the confirmation email said and what I got was sorry we had computer glitch no test for you what a waste of time Spokane wa store on division and lincoln

The pharmacists at the Walgreens at: 5055 Telegraph Avenue, Oakland, Ca 94609 are very rude. Go somewhere else for your meds. --N. Srinivasan

Walgreens in Rockingham, NC....an absolutely horrible pharmacy. Rude, lazy and incompetent staff. Medications are often unavailable.
