Walgreens goodbye hello CVS always preferred Walgreens until I talked to Amanda at 3rd st and bell rd in Phx. Az I bought some perfume there the package failed the bottle broke I called to see if Amanda could do anything for me she said I need 50% of the product (the bottle broke)I said twice and I also went digital with my receipts expressed that as well Amanda told me I had to have. A paper receipt but when I purchased the perfume the lady at the counter said since I had a digital receipt if for any reason I didn’t like the perfume I could return it she could find it with the digital receipt I PAYED 80.00 for the perfume didn’t get a chance to use it and Amanda just kept saying I need a paper receipt and 50%of the product so I have decided to NEVER GO TO WALGREENS AGAIN AND CVS WILL NOW BE MY NEW DRUG STORE!! I will share my story to everyone I know I am so disappointed and just disgusted with the way AMANDA HANDLED THIS!! I didn’t want my money back just the perfume!! So to ALL WALGREENS MANAGEMENT YOU HIRED A KEEPER!!

Diabetic Pen Needles
I have been buying pen needles for the last couple of years at BiMart for under $15 a box. BiMart just did away with their pharmacy so I went to Walgreens. For the same item I bought at Bimart for $15 Walgreens wanted $47. I was able to buy some over the internet for $13.99 a box. Walgreens is a rip off.

Re the Walgreens Pharmacy at 5695 Alton Pkwy
Re the Walgreens at 5695 Alton Pkwy. in Irvine, CA: First time I've ever used this Walgreens and will be the last. They advertise delivery online but fail to mention that delivery takes 3 days. They tell me the prescription will be ready in ten minutes and they'll send a text so I can set up a delivery for this afternoon but an hour later, still no text. I call back to find out that they didn't send the text, they take 3 days to deliver and they're just plain rude. They seriously could not care less.
The prescription is for a cancer drug to enable the patient to eat. Hasn't eaten since yesterday because of the pain but they don't care. I would think that it was due to COVID but I've had similar problems with other Walgreens - taking days to fill a prescription because they're too lazy to call the doctor, telling us to pick up the prescription and then we go to the store that same day to find out it's still not filled or it was restocked, restocking the prescription before we can get out there after I've told them repeatedly that transportation is difficult for us and to not restock. However, this is something of a new low even for them. What is the matter with pharmacies that don't care at all about their own customers? People need their medications desperately and they couldn't care less about common courtesy or basic ethics. Similar problems with Rite-Aid which is why we switched to Walgreens. Now going to CVS. Definitely.

Robot Phone Machine
I tried to call Walgreens to ask a simple question about a Covid Test and was only able to speak to a ROBOT. Absolutely ridiculous. There was no way to get to an actual person to ask a 10 second question. I just went in circles with the robot who never got close to answering my question. The customer service was horrid.

I write this letter review disappointed…
I write this letter review disappointed and disgusted with the manner in which the Mokena, Illinois location of Walgreens handled a request for the Moderna Booster shot for a senior in need. This took place recently at 10:30am on a weekday. We were traveling to Mexico and wanted to obtain this promptly since the booster was approved for seniors.
We visited our local Walgreens in Orland Park, Illinois and asked if they could help with the subject shot. They informed us that they only had the Pfizer, however, if we went to the Mokena location they had plenty of Moderna and if you explained the immediate traveling aspect reason for the booster shot they would administer it. When we arrived at this location with a handful of people in the store, no one at the pharmacy counter, no one waiting for anything from pharmacy personnel. When I explained the need for a booster shot for my wife, the technician Sarah loudly stated do you have an appointment. I said no however, can’t you help on an emergency basis since no one was is in the store. She said absolutely not without an appointment. We checked online and the soonest appointment was Wednesday, October 27th which would be past our travel time. I then approached the store manager, Marty, who tried to help however, the pharmacist also told him no to our request. I stood there and asked the pharmacist if there was any way he could see his way clear to help us. He also stated absolutely not.
Every five minutes on social media you hear please get vaccinated. Here we wanted to and your company said no. I understand that your policy is to get vaccinated by appointment only, however, your company refused to professionally handle the matter with tact and customer service skills. When we talk to Walgreens personnel in person or on the phone they always say stay safe, which is totally bogus for the way this matter was handled by Walgreens. Here we are trying to stay safe and your company made no attempt to help a good customer in need.
We called Walmart and they said absolutely to come in and we will take care of you with the Moderna booster shot. This email will probably fall on deaf ears, however, in sight of the pandemic, your company said absolutely not. I probably will mention this to our local TV stations who address consumer issues.
Walgreens, especially from the Mokena location could use a crash course in how to professionally treat customers.

Denied a doctor's prescription, Walgreens is not a doctor
I'm pissed I have to give Walgreens even one star. I'm making it my life's mission to tell everyone I know, and I'm in Florida, big in Florida not to use them! They refused to fill a prescription for ivermectin! They're willing to let people die, and they don't know what it's for could have scabies or a parasite, regardless of the reason, when a freaking doctor gives a prescription, freaking fill it or lose customers!
