i ordered something online, 12 hours later discovered that walgreens.com is charging TWICE AS MUCH as anyone else. i called to cancel and they refused to let me cancel saying it had shipped already (which it had not). i called their corporate office a week later (still no package even tho they continued to insist it had shipped) and corporate escalations did nothing. so i did the only thing i could which was file a dispute to my bank for the charges. no product received. i then got an email from corporate escalations telling me that since i filed a dispute with my bank i am no longer welcome to correspond with walgreens about this matter. now after 2 weeks more the package has finally arrived and i want to RETURN IT to walgreens. i called corporate, told them to send me a return label, and i will cancel the dispute with my bank if they allow me to return the items. THEY ARE STILL REFUSING TO ALLOW ME TO RETURN THE ITEMS. even tho i offered to cancel the bank dispute. they told me to stop trying that they won't speak to me because i disputed the charges. i'm just trying to do the right thing here - walgreens corporate really sucks, even for someone like me just trying to be honest.

Bad Flu Shot Experience
My wife and I went into Walgreens at around 4:30 pm today to get a flu shot. We were first asked if we had an appointment and we told the young lady at the counter we did not , based on their website, we understood that Walgreens accepted Walk-ins and they gave free flu shots. There were no other customers other than us. She told us they do but they prefer not to do vaccinations in the evenings because they are trying to clean up before closing. The store was still open until 9pm. She begrudgingly said they would go ahead and take us and began asking us for our information. She then asked for our insurance card and when we gave her our CHP card she told us they did not accept State of Florida Healthcare insurance. She said if we still wanted to get the shots it would cost around $45 each. At that point we left and went about a half mile down the road to CVS where they were extremely friendly, more than happy to give us our shots, never asked us for insurance information and made it the pleasant experience we were hoping for. They explained the difference in our shots since I was over 65 and my wife wasn't and answered every question that we asked, neither one of us having ever gotten a flu shot before. There was no charge for the shots. This is not the first negative experience we've had at Walgreens and we will be a lot more likely to use CVS in the future.

Dec 23.
email from hospital indicating prescription at local Walgreens pharmacy, to be taken prior to my upcoming outpatient procedure 12/27.
Dec 24
Went to local Walgreens pharmacy... unannounced closure Dec 24-25-26. Store is open, pharmacy closed.
Ok, find a 24 hour Walgreens. Called it, left on hold 3X then disconnected 3X. Total on hold maybe 90 minutes.
So decided to drive there instead.
Pharmacy assistant briefly looked for the prescription, but reported there was no record of me in Walgreens computer system. Not by name of birth date or phone number. Got it; an incompetent clerk. He did share the records of a different pharmacy customer with a $999 prescription that insurance didn't cover. Whoa, the first 3 letters of our last names were the same, and he's showing me the screen. Other person's name and prescriptions shared with me. Privacy breach. Then while I was still talking, this clerk started talking to person behind me. It's likely all on video.
Wow.
Plan B. Call the hospital. The on call doctor sent a new prescription to local King Soopers pharmacy for Dec 26 pickup. Problem solved.
As a 100% permanently disabled Vietnam veteran exposed to agent orange, my prescriptions come from the VA... all but 1. An honest mistake by the hospital, and impossible/incompetent mistake by Walgreens.
Hopefully I can save you the hassle and stress of dealing with Walgreens.

Lack of Service
A FedEx package was scheduled to arrive at 3251 FREEDOM DR on 12/6/21. I am disabled. It is inconvenient to get there. But, I walked the mile. While I waited for delivery I figured I'd get a Covid-19 booster. I was told I needed to have an appointment, even though there were 8 people in the store and 6 of them were employees. After 4 hours, 3 FedEx drivers & no package for me I walked home. On 12/8/21 I received a message that my package was delivered and signed for at 3251 FREEDOM DR. When I got a ride on 12/12/21 and went to get my package I was told they don't have it. I filed an inquiry. On 12/13/21 I was told I could "receive a refund or a free replacement". On 12/15/21 I was told "Please be assured that all the facts of this matter have been documented and forwarded to management for review. A member of management will reach out to you within two business days.". In the past 11 days I have reached out to them 8 times. I realize it is the Christmas season and they are busy. But, I expected, at the very least, a follow-up communication indicating their intentions or saying they are still working on it. I have not heard another word from them in those 11 days.

This walgreens at 2820 columbia pike in…
This walgreens at 2820 columbia pike in arlington, county va. Is racist rude and ignorant. I would shop in there from time and even signed up for a card which I never recieved. I went there dec.22,2021 and purchased items including beer. The cashier asked me in a rude way for my I'd, I am way above the age and older than the cashier as I showed my I'd, she was flirting with another customer who were standing off to the side. He was white also, the told her she did not ask him for his I'd. I went in again dec.23,2021 because I had forgot deodorant and another box beer. I asked the same cashier where was the deodorant, she acted as though she never heard me, a man then spoke up and asked her, she sent me in the wrong direction,as another customer was looking also. The store security woman then came and showed us to the correct shelf. When I was to check out. She again wanted to see my I'd, I told her I did not bring it with me, and I had showed it to her the day before as I have to the other cashier who was also there. She then got rude again and I asked her why would she keep wanting to see my I'd, as my I'd has my social security act. She then said because the Mgr. Said so, then she said because I have to show it everytime if I want to come in here, the other cashier acted as though she never seen me in there shopping. I went to the back where the beer case was and told another employee whom also works as a cashier, who have checked me out prior and he sent a black guy to check me out. She was still getting rude as other customers had lined up. She even told the guy he should and could get fired. She then told me not to come back into the store, I then told her she was a racist, and I will be reporting her. This walgreens, I have witness before how they act as though black customers come in to steal and have witness people calling them out. As the security follows u around the store and not the white. I won't be spending my money in there anymore. Or anyother walgreens, you need to clean this mess up.

Walgreens destroyed my life for what they did
I worked for Walgreens almost 20 years ago at the Walgreens - Store #6140 1620 NE GRAND AVE Portland, OR 97232 Cross streets: Northeast corner OF GRAND & WEIDLER 503-493-2715.. I began working there in April 2002. While there, I had the worst experience ever. I was falsely accused of stealing from the company. They tried to blackmail me into admitting that I did commit the crime when I didn’t. They tried to use the fact that I was only a US resident and didn’t have my citizenship at that time, that I would be sent back to my country. They put me through pure hell while trying to force me to admit to a crime I didn't commit.
The people employed there at that time said they had me on video. Yet, when they were asked to show the video, they refused to show it- unless I admitted to the crime. When this occurred, I hired an attorney. When the attorney asked for the footage or evidence they said they had recorded over it. They terminated me in October 2002. Yet, three days later they called me back in to give my job back only to let me go again. When this occurred, they put this false accusation on my background- so every job I've applied for I got red flagged, so no would hire me.
I lost everything when that occurred. I became homeless, with no solutions, no job. Which led to suicidal thoughts because I felt there was no hope of me ever getting another job because every opportunity given was denied. Even when I tried to get a job in Maricopa County, Phoenix AZ, they did a polygraph. One of the questions they asked was, if I had committed any crimes. It showed that I told the truth by saying no. Yet, they said, “you didn't commit it, but there's a trigger” Because I had already shared that situation with them, they agreed that the trigger was due to this issue bothering me for all those years. I found out 4 years later from other sources the entire slander, falsely accusing, threatening me, was a setup. The store manager and other supervisors didn't like me and they were trying to get rid of me from the beginning because of my excellent job performance. The administration at that time, tried to fire me before around October of 2002 and 3 days later I called the district and got my job back because I felt it was unfair and that I had worked too hard to get there- the administration knew I was the best retail employee at that time.I was always going above and beyond sales expectations, and they didn't agree nor like the fact that the company allowed me to come back three days later. Which led to all of the chaos…
I am a hardworking, honest, dependable, faithful man, who strives to be a leader, a team player, fair to all, treating others as I would want someone to treat me, always working hard to adhere to all rules and regulations by any business, company, etc., that I work for. My only goal while working at this store was to do just that and to gain experience and wisdom, while trying to advance in the Loss Prevention field. I did not choose, nor deserve to be falsely accused of these accusations.Although this had been almost 20 year ago, the damage is still evident today, not only with my name with but cause emotionally, socially, mentally as well Mental anguish Homeless Depression Suicidal
Couldn't get job red flags they took my paycheck
Blackmail and threatened . No one deserves to go through the trauma, stress, depression, suicidal thoughts being homeless, because I lost the home I was living in at the time, due to me losing that job, and not being able to be hired anywhere else and slander that I had to endure because of this situation.

AVOID Walgreen's Scarlet card AT ALL COSTS!!!!!
Walgreens has a debit card called Scarlet. Please
AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They lock your debit card every single time after you use it, and you have to contact them to get it unlocked. They claim that it's for security purposes.
That's a HUGE hassle so I called them on November 17th and asked them to cancel my card and to send me a check with the remaining amount. At first, they kept telling me that they had sent me a check, but the USPS mail is slow, but I'll get it. Now they are denying that they were supposed to send me a check and they are giving me the run around and they are ignoring my calls. They've stolen almost $130 from me, and they don't care.
Walgreens won't help either, even though the debit card is their company and Scarlet refuses to talk to me.
