Prescription is never ready regardless…
Prescription is never ready regardless of when it was ordered. Always understaffed. Went to neighbor rx , a local store . They helped me immediately. I never will return to Walgreens.

Up until about about 2 years ago, I could have been the Walgreens spokesperson. I loved the prompt, accurate pharmacy service. The first red flag I noticed was getting email and text notifications that scripts were ready for pick-up, only to arrive at the store to find that they WERE NOT ready. Walgreens workers at the store explained that they don’t send the notices out but that some “other” part of WALGREENS does it, while simultaneously encouraging customers to use the app, which clearly isn’t accurately notifying patients. This is a BIG problem. The company is obviously trying to lower patient/staff interactions but the tools they provided to minimize the interactions aren’t functioning properly, so everything is a mess. The second thing that has happened several times is that I call the actual store(because the text notifications are often wrong), a rep on the call says an ordered Rx has arrived at the store, I drive to the store, and they never have a record that I called because it wasn’t the store I talked with but someone at a call center, and of course the med isn’t there yet. The third thing is the absurd wait for the drive thru. I had 5 cars a head of me, I waited almost 45 minutes. That happened twice in the past few weeks. Drive thru isn’t for complicated Rx discussions or insurance verification. It’s for picking up and dropping off. PERIOD. Patients requiring anything beyond that need to be directed to enter the store. Perhaps additional training for the window personnel is in order. I frankly don’t know what the problem is but I am ready to switch pharmacies.

Why in the world do they close the pharmacy around 1pm for a so-called ‘meal break’? Seems unprofessional and disrespectful of customers who are now expected to remember and add this scheduling complication into their days. Really makes a bad impression.

I've been w/Walgreens for 28 yrs. I'm not going to re-hash my experience today and all that has gone wrong over 28 yrs, but today was the last straw and I finally set up w/another Pharmacy. The company has never come into the millennium. Clearly they do not pay their IT people for them to care enough to make the service work. Most often the Pharmacy staff is great and today they were as well. It's the 1980's system they use. For years I've threatened to go to another pharmacy and today I'm glad I've taken the step. Driving further to pick up what I need ticks me off but with convenience there needs to be service.

I am fortunate to be switching to a plan that doesn't require me to use this so called pharmacy. Since I was forced by my medical plan to go solely to this place I've been dreaming about going to another pharmacy. I haven't been to a pharmacy that hasn't run circles around this pharmacy. Their professionalism, efficiency, accuracy, sworn to serve, and duties are far the standards required at a pharmacy. They also feel your prescriptions shouldn't be filled when their counterpart prescription insurance says they won't pay. I've never seen a doctor's prescription that says only fill the prescription if the insurance pays. Rather this needs filled and see if the customer wants it. These people were hired to follow directives and we don't need their personal judgments when dealing with our health. Again it's great to be getting away from these so-called health providers. I hope their repeated actions don't effect others safety but can't see it otherwise.

My sister and I when for Covid-19 test on 12/12/21 since we have to fly out of the county on a night fly on 12/14/21 at 7 pm from the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood air port. It was already 12/14/21 and we checked several times the web site given to us to get results, receiving the answer that test was not received by the lab. We had to drive from Fort Lauderdale to Miami International air port to get another Covid-19 test which cost us $175 each. Well the test results arrived the 12/15/21 at 6 pm a day after we depart fromt the USA. WE DO NOT RECOMEND ANYONE TO USE WALGREENS FOR COVID TESTING if the test is for flying purpose.

Terrible experience with the Oakleaf branch in Jacksonville Fl. I spent an hour trying to set up the Walgreen app because it was so buggy. I finally got it running and ordered a $39.00 shower chair and was informed it would be ready to pickup in an hour at the Oakleaf store, I thought finally that’s over. 15 minutes later, I received an email the order was canceled because it was not available and my card was not charged. I will never buy from Walgreens again, I deleted the app and forwarded any thing from Walgreens to my Spam box. What a tremendous waste of time and energy. My only regret is not reading the review, which were mostly bad reviews.

I have had numerous issues with Walgreens on Whispering pine. I noticed that the black girls in the pharmacy are rude and speaks short to other black customers. I walked in pharmacy to get my prescription filled. I told the cashier that I would wait for it to be filled.after waiting in line for almost 30 min. She stated I would have a 20-25 min wait. I stated I would wait. I waited 30 min. I went to store and came back. sat and waited an additional 30 plus minutes. They were filling other customers prescriptions that was being brought in and I had been waiting over an hour. We asked about my meds.it still wasn't ready. All customers in pharmacy was gone.the staff laughing and talking among themselves. The pharmacy walking around up front.no one paying me any mine. I then ask again about my mess. The girl replied their not ready. I was in so much pain. I askedif my pain med was ready and I could pick the others up tomorrow. She stated to me none was ready. I said you mean to tell me .you told me 20-25-minutes. it's been a hour an half.i am in here waiting their are no other customers in here. You haven't even attempted to fill my prescription. She said it would be an additional 20-25 minutes.which would have been over 2 hrs. I ask for my prescription. She replied you can get it.shovel it on counter.i grap it and start to leave when the 3 black girls up from burst out and start laughing. I told them I didn't see anything funny.much money my insurance pay them a year. I was going to take my business elsewhere. One of them replied do that. That's when I told them how I felt. And went and told the Manager. I am moving my prescription s some where else.almost $60.000 my insurance pay them for my medicine.not includes my copay to be treated this way. ridiculous .unprofessional. .
