If we could give zero or negative stars we would. Truly a terrible pharmacy with terrible service. Use CVS or upur local pharmacy if possible. It's impossible to get your prescription filled at Walgreens.

I made an appointment for covid testing…
I made an appointment for covid testing at Iron Mountain MI Walgreens, hour and a half from where I live, cause it was soonest available. The website asks if you have symptoms. I made the appointment, got multiple confirmations, drove up there. Sat in line for over half hour. Was turned away because "I had too many symptoms". It sounded like a bad joke, but true. Nobody in healthcare understands this. If you don't actually want to test actively sick people, then why do you let them make appointment? Ridiculous!!!

I have begun to see a trend/ pattern at…
I have begun to see a trend/ pattern at Walgreens. They are super short of courteous workers and it is felt by the customers like myself. There is a bit of nonchalance amongst the workers in the Pharmacy. If you call you get an answer that you want to hear. However, when you go in, you are rudely awakened by the facts after standing in line waiting your turn to get to the counter. There is no remorse for their rude behavior and inaccurate information that they give over the phone. There is also a reluctance in administering the vaccines. My family has made appointments at more than one Walgreens only to find out that their excuse is not enough people came in for the vaccine so they are not going to open the bottle. Or sorry, we do not have anyone to give the vaccine today.

Ineffective Customer Service
Today received this reply from walgreens Manager at 3251 freedom Drive in Charlotte nc. "Unfortunately we do not supply replacements for merchandise handled through FedEx. The package in question was returned to FedEx and we no longer have any information available. I would advise to contact FedEx for further assistance." My reply was "I did contact Federal Express. They cannot give me any information as to when you returned the package. They only can say that it was delivered back on December 23rd. By that date I can assume it was in your possession around December 18th. It was supposed to arrive at your store on December 6th. I was there over three hours on December 6th waiting for the driver. It arrived at your store on December 8th. I was there to pick up the package on the 12th. I contacted Walgreens on December 13th, December 15th, December 20th, December 22nd, December 29th, January 6th, January 11th, January 12th, and January 15th. Each time I was told you did not have the package and you would refund or replace the item. Therefore, it is your responsibility to provide the package to me or a replacement there of.
It is obvious that when I arrived to pick up my package either the person at the desk did not check or she lied to me when she told me there was just a few packages back there and my name wasn't on any of them. If you have a replacement that would be great. I attached the information on the order. It was a Bissell 40 ounce bottle of pet stain & Odor + ANTIBACTERIAL 2 in 1 formula carpet shampoo for my Bissell carpet cleaner. But, if you have something else in mind I am open to suggestions.
Since it was a Christmas gift and that ship sailed, I would be happy with a refund or gift card."
I received another email from Walgreens.com:
At store level we are not responsible for replacement of packages that were not picked up and thus sent back to FedEx. We have no control over the arrival of packages as that is solely through FedEx. I'm not sure what customer service representative you spoke with, but it wasn't anyone inside this specific store, because we do not have the capability or authorization to refund or replace packages that were returned back to FedEx. There's no way to have a definitive answer as to how long the package was in FedEx possession since it wasn't scanned out when the driver picked it up due to the damaged barcode as stated previously. Only FedEx can provide you with the package information because that's who has it. Also you could look into having the company the product was purchased from to refund your money for the merchandise since FedEx hasn't delivered the product to you to date, but we are simply a hub that awaits arrival for customer pick up and drop off. Once the packages are picked up by FedEx drivers it's no longer in our control.

I replied:
I can certainly understand the store not being responsible for packages that were not picked up. However, I did arrive to pick it up while it was on the premises. It was the fault of the store for not checking the packages for mine. The woman behind the counter went back 3 times to verify my box was not there. She told me "There are just a few packages back there. Yours is not one of them." I asked her a couple of times if it was possible it had been returned. She said they would not have done that.
Since I was there to pick it up it was not my bad & it was not FedEx who randomly picked it up. Had it not been legible there was every expectation that the package would have been opened to identify the owner, not thrown away. In essence that was what was done in the store. It was there. I was there at the same time. I was told it wasn't there. How, exactly did you expect to give it to the owner if you wouldn't identify the package belonging to me? I gave the lady behind the counter the tracking number, my ID and I told her the contents of the box. Had it been a lost wallet I would have believed it would have been searched in order to find a name, address, phone number...some form of identifying the owner.
Bissell sent it to you only because it was stolen from in front if my door. It was agreed that if it was sent to you it would be safe. They specifically indicated, "If you do not get it this time we can no longer send any more to you." As it was they sent a couple of times via FedEx at their own expense.
In short there is only one entity at fault here....Walgreens Co.

It took nearly 3 weeks for a District Manager to contact me. He said he didn't know what happened. So I explained it. It's been about a week and I still haven't heard back from Walgreens or the district manager. This started in mid-November & today is February 1.

once again Walgreens at markham and…
once again Walgreens at markham and bowman has shown that the customers are secondary and i am sure they feel as if they are doing us a favor by being open. this is truly a very poor pharmacy. long lines due to a incompetent staff.
pharmacist is very deliberately slow. clerks are not trained and have to ask the pharmacist even the most simple question.
i did not get my prescription filled today and will use a local owned pharmacy in the future.
You FAILED. again walgreens. you should close your store if this is the best you can do. i won’t be back

I drove in from out of town for my Rx…
I drove in from out of town for my Rx refill. They told me come back in an HR. I did. Then they said I had no refills ( this is for post op pain med). I spoke personally then to pharmacist and he checked and yes I had refills but he says he's too busy to fill. They are really short staffed is what I was told. I'm insisting that I get it...as I need post op pain med. They finally agreed but I need to sit here 1.5 more hours. I'm pulling my Rx on my next MD visit.

No one answers the phone, prescriptions not filled for days
No one answers the phone at the Damariscotta Walgreens. A prescriber called in a prescription on a Thursday. I tried to call for three days. Still have not been able to get the medication. I called as soon as the pharmacy opened and waited on hold for 40 minutes and gave up. Tried again the following day and gave up after being on hold for 30 minutes.
