My wife has been hospitalized twice in the past 8 days (stroke). Her PCP authorized her to take Ativan while in the hospital along with her sleep medication and wrote her a prescription for Ativan when she left the hospital last evening. Today the non-helpful pharmacist at Walgreens refused to fill the prescription because she thought it might interfere with her sleep medication. She did not inform us she was not filling it until I tried to pick it up. She was angry that the doctor had not returned her calls and I informed her the doctor was closed on Wednesdays. I stressed the importance of my wife getting her prescribed medication and she responded "I'm a pharmacist. You can't tell me what to do." Do not use this pharmacy if you think you might actually need to receive the medications your doctor prescribes. I called Walgreens Corporate complaint line to see if I could get the medication for my wife. They took my complaint and said someone would get back to me within two business days. I don't want to wait two days for my wife to get her prescribed medication.

Using Walgreen's website, I booked an appointment to receive the vaccination for Tuesday, 10/4/2022 at 12:45PM at 9580 Kenwood Rd, Blue Ash, OH 45242. The forms to receive the flu shot were also completed ahead of time. I received a confirmation and reminder text from Walgreens. I waited line approximately 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time and checked in with the pharmacy tech and waited another 35 to 40 minutes for the pharmacist to give me the vaccination. The pharmacist kept me waiting until she gave vaccinations to two other customers who had called the store that morning but had not registered online nor had registered through the 800-phone number and they were not on the schedule. They arrived after I was checked in. The two customers were also given extra time to complete their paperwork manually before getting their vaccine. However, I was able communicate to the pharmacist the poor customer service received. I received my flu vaccine and exited the Walgreens store at 1:35 PM.

Walgreens did not think through the ramifications of going "paperless" for coupon application on store purchases. 50 + years of loyal patronage down the drain. Bring back the paper in-store coupons for Heaven's sake. Website keeps telling me that my email of 25 years is "invalid". Just missed out on savings of 2.50 after pleading my case to manager who obviously could have cared less. All she kept saying was to call corporate # I had already pulled 9 prescriptions from pharmacy to a competitor over Walgreens over pricing. I will stop going to Walgreens altogether even though inconvenient for me, as CVS is further away. Goodbye and good luck with the "improved" method. SMH

terrible service.I was in hospital total of 19 days.my nurse who was to release me called Walgreens to see if all my meds were ready because I was quite weak. when I got there 9 people in line and when I git ti pickipwindow I was told another 20 min meds weren't ready. I will never go back again for meds.They are very unorganized.

Even with a receipt you can not get your money back from walgreen They force you to take a gift card with the excuse they gave you points.I spent over 200 $and according to Walgreen management walgreen gave me 5 point’s l dit not ask for.so please be carful when shopping at walgreen.helma ritter

The location of this Walgreens is on Piney Orchard Rd in Odenton, MD. I am appalled at the lack of professionalism of the cashier at the pharmacy. First, the initial impression was not good because she had this dirty gray shirt on, with dirty hands and nails, as well as this orange hair in a large puffy ball that stuck out everywhere. She wore no employee id so I couldn't get her name. She walked back and forth from the register to the back to chat with the pharmacists. I arrived at the pharmacy at 3:01 PM and at 3:52 PM I walked out because that cashier screwed up my paperwork. Even though when I made the appointment online in advance for 3:20 PM 10/3/2022, it was accurate. I registered for the flu shot and a pneumonia vaccine. The cashier then changed the vaccine to a covid shot and something else. An actual female pharmacist told me that's was what was taking so long for me to be called for my 2 shots. So, in other words, that orange haired cashier deliberately manipulated data in the system. NO trusting Walgreens any longer!!!! I had to call my insurance company because she charged my insurance company for the 2 shots. I have the receipt. Furthermore, the black man giving the vaccines, was taking customers in front of me whose appointments were after me. I called Walgreens customer service to give a verbal review and the woman who heard me out was gracious and apologized, and said that my complaint would go to management but who knows.

COVID-19 appointment arrived 15 minutes before my appointment wasn’t seen until 30 after. It’s pointless using the app since the information is not centralized.
