I don't like Walgreens, they are a sorry company, it's hard to get a job with them, they lie to you, they lied to me and said they was on a hiring freeze at the hull street store in VA. I discourage this.

Ever since this company has taken over Rite Aide the service is terrible. I call the automated line at 9am and give all my info and go to pick up my script and it’s not ready 6 hours later when the automatic say it will be ready at 10:30 am. I’m tired of this store everytime you turn around there’s a new pharmacist and new workers. That’s got to make me believe that there not a good company to work for. I’m going to CVS at least there open on the weekends I’ve been customer for 25 years. :(

I respect the fact that staffing has become a problem for many businesses... but this is totally ridiculous, when you receive a phone call from the automated service stating your script is ready, but in reality hasn't been filled and you sit at the pharmacy for another 45 minutes waiting for them to be filled, after standing in line for 30 minutes or longer... Maybe walgreens need to focus on staffing their pharmacy and stop buying other properties and businesses. There is a point where you become to big to manage what you have.

Do not do your prescriptions at Walgreens. I am in the process of switching my pharmacy and I cannot wait to get away from Walgreens. I have called two days in a row to find if a RX was called in for a stage 4 lung cancer patient and I was on hold for over 1 hour yesterday and now this morning again for over an hour. The technician picks up the phone and then places me on hold again without saying a word. This is ridiculous! As much money as this company makes, you think they could get security and someone to answer the phones. I went there to find out if my RX was ready and stood in line for 1/2 hour just to find out that it was not ready. When I was there, there were homeless people in there stealing things off the shelves. The young lady there asked them to leave or she would call the police and the homeless man started yelling at her. He grabbed everything off the shelf and ran out the door. Walgreens are putting their employees in danger and they don't care. Walgreens has really gone downhill since COVID. They do not care about people at all. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

Walgreens went from a 5-star pharmacy to a ZERO. Every month they delay medications for different reasons, out of stock, in-process, filling. Each time I called (10–30-minute wait times), I was told a date, and then another, then another... The Drs had to call in an interim drug for the 2nd time. Walgreens cares nothing about your needs. My physicians requested I move my prescriptions as this has become a standard practice for Walgreens. Done!

Yesterday I purchased a food item for 99 cents at Walgreens on 71st and Jeffery. The item rang up for $1.09 after taxes. Assuming that the cashier had pushed the wrong tax button for the item, I shared that the tax on food is 2%. The cashier stated we don't have anything to do with the taxes on anything, it is already in the register. I shared that, yes, food and medical items are supposed to be taxed at 2%. The manager just so happened to be coming up, and she said, well, you won't be taxed anyway. I said why is that? She said, you're paying with Snap, right? I replied, No. Oh, she says, well, we don't make the taxes up the corporate level does. Then she shared that I was not the only person who had brought this situation to their attention, but nothing had ever been done about it.

Walgreens has gone downhill since COVID and I will never use them. Many of their pharmacies have a single drive-through lane. Someone in management thinks it's a good idea for the people wanting to pick up prescriptions at the pharmacy to sit in line for an hour waiting for four COVID testers in front of them. It doesn't matter to Walgreens that I am disabled and cannot go into the store. Curb pickup is a big joke. They don't have enough employees to run the store. The most recent experience is most horrid. I have filled a prescription twice and they have canceled it twice and not notified me of anything at all.other than they received the prescription request the and I needed to wait because they were out of the stock. Who runs out of synthroid? It is a basic life sustaining medication. The first time I used the website to fill the prescription. A week later there's still no medication and they've completely canceled the prescription refill. I'm speaking to someone on the phone now and I asked them to fill the prescription and mail it to me as I requested in the beginning. No prescription, the girl didn't even enter the refill. It's just sitting out there in limbo waiting for me to refill it at a different pharmacy. Trust me I will never use Walgreens again. I had already moved the majority of my medications to an online pharmacy where I get much better service. I am very happy with them and I will use Walmart for emergency medications. Walgreens no longer starts basic medications. Sad, I used to use them all the time. They're just at the end of my street.
