I have RA and a genetic condition so I require several medications to manage my conditions. Overall, my insurance pays about $400k a year in just meds. When I started hearing about pharmacists refusing birth control, condoms, and Methotrexate I pulled all my scripts from my neighborhood Walgreens and took my business elsewhere. I will drive a few more blocks but it is worth it if Walgreens never receives another dime from me or my insurance company. I also moved my children's meds to a different pharmacy. I generally have a med to pick up every two days. Walgreens lost a lot of ongoing business. I am also encouraging the people in my RA facebook group to go elsewhere. Walgreens really does not care for their patrons.

Had appt. for covid booster. Arrived 5 minutes early. Waited an hour. No one ever acknowledged I am alive. Had to bully the pharmacist to get any attention at all. Left disgusted without getting my booster.

Wallgreens don't allow customers to use the restrooms; all the stores post signs that explain that the restoom are being fixed or that they are unavaiblale several hours later, which never happen.

Where is the zero rating? Because that is what they deserve. This is not based on one experience, but consistently HORRIBLE service. Drive up lane to save time? Forget it! Always 4-5 cars deep and 15-20 minutes in line. What are they doing at the drive up window that takes 5+ minutes per car to grab a bag of drugs and ring up the sale???? If my Medicare prescription coverage was as cheap through other pharmacies, I would change in a second. Unfortunately, the cost difference is significant.

Have noticed the quality of service has gone down over the last couple of years. Today was enough to make my blood boil and consider switching pharmacies. I needed an antibiotic prescription filled (along with 2 others) after a trip to urgent care. Dr submitted the script before noon, by 8pm the app was still showing it was pending. I decided to try transferring the request to another location using the app to see if I could get it sooner (because who doesn't want to start feeling better faster?) and accidentally hit cancel on the prescription request. The issue I have is that there's no failsafe for accidentally doing this. No "are you sure you want to cancel this request?" message. Nothing. I ended up calling the original location and explained the situation to them. Guy tells me he is working on filling the prescriptions I had right then and to come get them before they closed in 45 mins. Cool, I figured I'd get the meds I need and all would be good. I get to the pharmacy and it's a different story. He tells me that the dr canceled the antibiotics, to which I explained for a 2nd time that no, I accidentally canceled it in the app trying to transfer to another location because I wanted them today, not tomorrow. He tells me he can't fill it and that I need to call my Dr to have them send a new request. WHY DO YOU ALLOW PEOPLE TO CANCEL PRESCRIPTIONS IN THE APP??? This was the most frustrating experience I've had with Walgreens ever and now I'm still out a prescription that I need to start feeling better. It's well past the Dr's office business hours so I am screwed until tomorrow or possibly later depending on how quickly I can get them to send the request over again. Thanks for nothing.

Today, 10/13/2002, I visited the Walgreens at 1701 Faulkland Road at the Chestnut Run Shopping Center in Wilmington, DE. I requested a specific prescription to be refilled which I picked up later. When I got home i noticed they gave me the wrong prescription. I called and spoke to one of the Pharmacy employees (Megan) and explained to her that THEY gave me the wrong prescription. Her response was there is nothing she can do since the prescription left the store and they don't do refunds on prescriptions. She even suggested that I bring the medication that I paid for and throw it in the disposal box in store. I called corporate about my issue and spoke to consumer affairs department and they basically said the same thing except to say that the in store Pharmacy may be able to do something for you. Now this does not make since to me. Corporate telling me there is nothing that can be done about the incident however if you go to the Pharmacist there maybe some other resolution for the issue. When I was in store the Pharmacist did not offer any resolution to my problem. They made the mistake and now I have to pay for it literally. Its time to take my business elsewhere.

I don't like to leave negative reviews. Unfortunately this situation calls for it. It's been months of closing on weekends, opening late, closing early. Covid concerns have come and gone but their horrible pharmacy service has only continued to go down hill. I'm standing in the pharmacy as we speak. I called last night to confirm medications were in stock and going to be filled first thing in the morning. I already knew they wouldn't be ready due to the past.. I called again when they opened to make sure my medications were filled and that I was headed hat way. They had not been filled but said they would get them ready. It's been 2 hours since I've arrived (an hour after calling )and still nothing ready. I'm almost an hour late for work because they close so early I can't make it back by 6pm! It's literally a joke. Numerous other customers were talking between eachother about other places they are switching to. The workers are kind. It's obvious above them. They claim a tech called off every time I've been in. They don't have the meds half the time. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

I want to give a review of the Walgreens on River Dr. South in Jersey City in Newport the manager which was a Muslim woman disrespected a homeless man that purchase from that store this manager was harassed him every aisle went down every aisle made his experience so uncomfortable but I’m not talking about his experience I have experienced the same thing I noticed they’ve done the same thing to me and I buy them on a regular basis buyer beware if you are a resident of Newport do not shop there they are racist and they only cater to Indians and white people If you happen to be black they will harass the hell out of you and make your experience so uncomfortable they have done this for years
