I went to Walgreens at Lansdowne in Lexington, Kentucky. I went there to get my Covid booster and my flu shot. Unfortunately, there were three people there for the same appointment time as I. Others were also waiting. They were so overbooked. I feel very confident with their pharmacy staff, but Walgreens management is not taking care of their employees. Managements expectations of their employees is unreasonable. Are used to love to go to Rite Aid but Walgreens them out. I miss the atmosphere Rite Aid exhibited.

Corporate double books vaccine and flue shots but doesn’t do anything to help their employees manage the workload. Way to take advantage of your customers and employees

They constantly close the store front of pharmacy. You need to do everything in the drive thru. Drop off prescription, pick up prescription, change insurance on file etc. The drive thru routinely has so many cares in line that it goes into the street. Inside there is only one cashier. Obviously headquarters does not care. Most likely, they don't treat employees well or pay well. I've written headquarters and been ignored. I will be transferring all of my prescriptions.

Made an appointment for vaccine one week in advance still went to the back of the line behind walk in appointments. Also filled out paperwork online and still had to fill it out when we arrived. 4 people including us getting vaccine and had to wait 30 minutes.

It is really sad what Walgreens has come to. No matter what store I go to there is a long wait at checkout . Medication not ready when promised. It’s been going on for months …. Time to find a different pharmacy

Actual date of experience was 10/21/22. It wont change it for some reason. I called my prescription in yesterday and it was supposed to be ready the same day around 1 pm. I went to take my son to school today in fortuna, ca. 20 minutes away, to the same town as my walgreens. My other son 6 month old fell asleep in his carseat. I hangout until they open at 9. Check to see if my prescription was actually ready and it wasn't. It said it would be ready at 11. I didnt have to go back to town today. So I went to the drive up to see if I could just wait while they finished it. The pharmacist tells me there are too many prescriptions maybe it will be ready at 12. When I start to tell her I don't live here and have five kids she tells me to go do something for 3 hours in town and the longer she talks to me the longer it will take. I sat in the line looking for a complaint number, with no cars behind me. She tells me I can't sit there. I told her I was looking for a complaint number and she said I'll get the manager. She starts talking to a customer he starts laughing, three employees walk over and they all start staring and laughing. Don't go there! Doctors have warned me not to go there specifically because of that pharmacist but my normal pharmacy doesn't have a pharmacist at the moment. Janet is the worst pharmacist on the planet! She is so rude. This isn't the first experience I've had. Then the other two employees should be fired Nancy and Gabby or learn some manners especially if you don't understand you guys are at fault. The only reason anybody goes there is because our options suck! Then I get home 20 minutes later and it says my prescription is ready! AFTER I DROVE HOME AND SAID I WOULD WAIT! She told me it would be 3 hours, she did it just to be a jerk! She knew I was going home if it was going to take that long, I told her! I wouldn't wait 3 hours with a baby. Then I called to complain and the human resources lady didn't even say goodbye, it just went to if you would like to leave your feedback press, whatever. So unprofessional. My mom has complained about this place too, as have numerous other people I know.

I attempted to order a Frankenstein Hello Kitty Squishmallow from Walgreens, paying extra for it to be delivered. The purchase was complete, payment received. Three hours later I received an email stating that they were unable to complete my purchase and they would send a full refund. No explanation of what occurred or instructions as to actually fulfill my order. The thing that aggravated me the most was I attempted to leave the above review on their site, Walgreens emailed me saying they wouldn't be able to publish my review. They are censoring poor review so they don't look bad. VERY DISHONEST! I also had to change my pharmacy from Walgreens to Target because the hours of operation make it hard to pick up prescriptions. I feel they maybe closing soon. I've gone to Walgreens for 20 years until recently. What a shame.

I have had issues with them for years, but I keep going back because they would give the medicines up to 3 days early and no other I knew of would do that. With my work, I need that flexibility as I am not always in town. I am now switching. I put up with their incompetence and downright lack of caring for a long time. There is always an issue, now, they are either closed for some reason, or they are backed up and it takes more than 24 hours to get your meds.
