Walgreens Northfield MN. This stores pharmacy is terrible.. I have using cub foods for over 20 years with no problems. Since I have been on Medicare I have been going to Walgreens. I have been having none stop problems with them. Don't go here unless you have no choice!!

I’d go elsewhere for Covid vaccinations and flu shots.
My experience was at this Walgreens:
2920 WHITE BEAR AVE N, Maplewood, MN
I made an online appointment for my Covid Booster and
flu shot. I have an account so allot of the information they wanted was already there. It said it would speed up the process if I filled out the forms required, so I did.
I arrived for my appointment on time and initially the woman helping me was helpful. She asked for my insurance card which I gave her and then went silent doing whatever it was she was doing with the computer. I stood there 10 minutes (yes, I timed it) while she said nothing. How about, “you can take a seat while I do whatever it is I’m doing”. She left me standing there. Then tells me that I need to fill out the paperwork IN DUPLICATE that I had already completed online and submitted. I stood in front of her for 10 minutes- if she knew I was going to have to do the forms again wouldn’t that have been the time to hand them to me?? I got snappy at that point (which isn’t something I do often) and pretty much demanded we do the damn shots so I could get to work. So my 8:30 appointment happened at 9:00 with a different pharmacy worker which worked for me!! I’d give 1 star but the guy actually giving the shots was pleasant and good at giving the shots.

Regularly disappointing
Due to insurance requirements, I've had to use Walgreens pharmacy, and it's nearly always disappointing. I've used their text message system for refills and requests to contact my Dr, and I've also used the link they send to my email. The text message system never seems to work. Then my refill request sits, unfilled, and requests for more refills from my doctor also go unnoticed- often for days, until I call to see if it's ready yet, which it generally is not.
Then my other problem happens (when it is that much closer to when I need my medicine), more often than not, when the refill request does go through, it is out of stock. I've asked about why they never have it in stock, especially considering I fill it every month & so you'd think they'd order enough for the clients who need it every month, but the only reasons I've been given have been that it's a brand name & that they fill a lot of prescriptions.
Both of these problems have caused me to come close to running out of medicine on numerous occasions.

The Walgreens Pharmacy at Flamingo and…
The Walgreens Pharmacy at Flamingo and Buffalo, Las Vegas has the rudest people working behind the counter. I stopped using this pharmacy years ago for this reason and recently went back to them. BIG mistake. Customer service is everything to me. Now I dont ever want to go back to Walgreens period. I'd rather go the extra mile to Target and get Great customer service.

I am almost universally disappointed…
I am almost universally disappointed when dealing with Walgreens pharmacy department. One assumes that labor shortages plague them too. I had the most difficult time getting the discount for a well known, nationally advertised drug. The front line staff are well intended, at times not well trained, and often beleaguered.

Made an appt online
Made an appt online, when I got there they didn't even have someone on staff who could give me the shot. Had to wait 45 minutes. Would have been easier at the doctor.

Poor Customer Service in Call Connection Scenarios
It is always a frustrating experience when trying to collect a prescription or to get someone to answer the phones. This is quite evident at at least three different locations.
You are placed on hold and then after 10-15 minutes, the phone rings and although it would appear that someone would answer because the line is open, you are again placed on hold with music. This goes on for at least five to six times when you are placed on hold again and again.
I actually had Walgreen's on the phone for 20 minutes prior to driving to the location, waited in line with five cars ahead of me, got to the window, and the call was never answered until I made them aware.
I do understand in these times there is high volume of people, calls, etc.; however, if someone would even come back to say something as a professional courtesy that would be great!
