Get out of the healthcare business! Your dangerous
Getting off a plane and experiencing breathing distress my physician called in a series of medications at10 am in the morning. At 5pm 4 of the five medications were ready for pick up (yup 7 hours later ). When I called on the fifth medication status I was left on hold for 20 minutes. When the pharmacist picked up the call I explained the urgency of getting this particular medication, theofolin, for asthma emergencies and was told they were out of stock and would not have until Friday, two days later with an impending blizzard warning. They asked if they should check another store…duh….yes and was told I needed to travel to another location and picked this drug up as they can’t deliver between stores. Really. Lol. When asked when the second location of pick up would have the medication ready they said they did not know but when I get over there I could wait. These folks suck, have no sense of urgency and should really staff their pharmacy with folks who understand the need for medication in an emergency situation. I am still sitting in line at the drive thru for location one to pick four of the meds only to drive to the second location to wait and pick up the fifth drug. Thus pharmacy should be shut down for incompetence and they don’t belong in the health care business. Walgreens at 39th St Kenosha Wi Update: good thing I asked for the address of the second location because the individual called a location 20 miles away instead the one she identified to me as 8 miles away.
