Well, after years of thinking Walgreens could professionally and ethically handle my prescriptions, I am DONE. *1. Without my consent or knowledge, some medications were transferred to an online company and were refilled in different quantities then ever before. These were two medications od a three medication HP prescription. Nevertheless, I was so screwed up on a day to day quantity and emotionally at a loss as to who would take the privilege to change and compromise my HP medication.

Very bad timing for issue. Sent license up shoot for drive through to get my prescription. I never received it back. Unfortunately didn't notice till following day. I called and was told they sent it back as seen on camera. Definitely not the case. Going across country on vaca in 4 days. I was told a female was seen on camera putting license in tube canister. A man was who i dealt with. Thanks for MAJOR inconvenience

I am a diabetic and I requested a refill of the accu-check lancets strips from my physician...she sent the prescription to walgreens, received notification from Walgreens pharmacy that they needed insurance information, called and spoke with a pharmacy staff that stated they needed my medicare information which the pharmacy already had in their system from my previous medication refill...come to find out they needed a copy of my supplemental insurance card...which I brought in a few days later, now they were stating that my physician needed to filled out a form and fax it back to them, which my physician did, surprise now they wanted a prior authorization request from my physician...I won't say any more, but since I'm familiar with Medicare Part B billing I contacted Walmart pharmacy and they stated all they needed was a prescription from my physician and the rx would be filled...called my physician, she sent the prescription and I had my accu-check strips within an hour, with no hassle...Walgreens is not filling certain prescriptions until they receive approval from Wellcare/CVS even though the patient needs that medication and the physician prescripts' it...I am calling the broker Monday to request a change in my Medicare Part D provider who had a contract with Walmart...and this is not the only problem I had with Walgreens relating to my medications.

I take Buprenorphine to stop my narcotic dependence. Had the doctor appointment and doctor transmitted my RX to Walgreens Pharmacy and it said the hours were open until 10:00pm. As I was leaving town on Amtrak to visit my son, I found the store had to temporarily close and obviously couldn’t get my RX. Couldn’t use my ticket on Amtrak either. How crappy that Walgreens Pharmacy couldn’t notify customers that they were planning on closing early. I’m pissed!

i have been using Walgreens Pharmacy for over 15 year, we recently moved to Crowley so I thought great just transfer my meds there. My doctor sends over a prescription to be filled right after my surgery. The “pharmacist“ said I need to talk to your doctor WHY? Ok So I call my doctor and they call her to let her know that he prescribed , non-narcotic by the way, so now I call back. When can I come pick up medication. So she preceded to tell me that she will only fill 3 days, it’s her call. Sorry lady, NOT your call it’s my doctors call. Then she said well you can transfer out to another pharmacy. so glad you said that, I immediately went to CVS which I highly recommend and they filled it right away. Next I will track down her boss and on and on until I am issued an apology. she thinks she can mess with people‘s lives, now it’s my TURN! I highly suggest you transfer out as quickly as possible!!! Worst experience of my life. one week tomorrow since my surgery and just got my meds!!! 😡🤬

The Manger should have opened the 2nd register when she saw 8 people are waiting to check out and the cashier is helping a elderly lady. Very impressed with the cashier!

THE WALGREENS IN GRANTS PASS OREGON IS TERRIBLE. WORST I HAVE SEEN IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. VERY NEGATIVE AND THEIR FAVORITE WORD IS "NO". THEY SAY MEDICATIONS ARE READY ON THEIR EMAIL ALERT. I WAIT IN LINE 10 DEEP OR MORE AND THEN THEY DO NOT HAVE THEM READY AND SAY COME BACK IN TWO HOURS. WAIT IN LINE SOME MORE. ON ONE OCCASSION THEY SAID THEY WERE OUT OF THE DRUG AND I REFUSED TO LEAVE UNTIL THEY GAVE IT TO ME. MY WIFE HAS CANCER AND IT IS NOT AN OPTIION WITH THESE MEDICATIONS. THEY FINALLY RELENTED AND GAVE ME THE PERSCRIPTION. I WILL NOT GO BACK.
