Walden UniversityReviews of waldenu.edu

Walden University has been an excellent choice for my graduate studies. The MS in Leadership is practical and highly relevant, and it has helped me turn years of senior military command experience into a framework for strategic and corporate leadership. The online format let me study alongside demanding professional duties. The staff have been supportive from the start, and Jada Miller deserves special mention for guiding me through enrollment and my first weeks with patience and professionalism. I would recommend Walden to working professionals seeking flexible, career-focused study

Perfect setup. Thank you.

Everything is good.

My experience at Walden University has been positive overall. As a registered nurse with over 23 years of nursing experience, I decided to further my education because I want to continue growing professionally and advancing my career as a nurse practitioner. Walden has given me the opportunity to pursue that goal while balancing the demands of working full-time night shifts, being a wife and mother, and managing my other responsibilities. I appreciate the flexibility of the online learning environment, which allows me to continue my education without putting my career or family life on hold. The coursework has challenged me academically and encouraged me to think more critically, strengthen my clinical knowledge, and grow as a future advanced practice nurse. Although balancing school, work, and family can be overwhelming at times, I am proud of my progress and the fact that I have maintained a 4.0 GPA. My experience has required discipline, dedication, and sacrifice, but I believe the knowledge and skills I am gaining will make me a better healthcare provider. Overall, I am grateful for the opportunity to invest in my future while continuing to do what I love—caring for patients.

Some of the instructors and my Student Support Advisor (SSA)help make my experience at Walden great. The instructor connected with me personally by phone and built a relationship with me to understand who I am and what life activities I was managing while earning my degree at Walden. My SSA contacted me every three weeks (at my discretion) with encouragement, suggestions for navigating barriers, and genuine concern for my success at Walden.

My experience in Walden University’s Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program has been exceptionally positive and rewarding. The program provides a strong academic foundation, meaningful learning opportunities, and excellent preparation for advanced practice in mental health care. The faculty are knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely committed to student success. Their guidance, encouragement, and expertise have helped me grow both personally and professionally. I’m grateful to be pursuing my goals at Walden and highly recommend this program to nurses who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by mental health challenges.

Great faculty and instructors who don't overwhelm you with homework, and they engage with the students and answer any questions we might have promptly.

The constructive feedback given after every post and discussion made me more aware of how I can improve in the next step.
