Walden UniversityReviews of waldenu.edu

The approach to Walden was the most critical moment for me among other competing institutions during admission process. My Walden Enrollment Specialist made the experience seamless and professionally orchestrated up until course registration. I have no reservation in making this review given the alignment between the initial approach and the online interface for coursework.

I love my school but in general this is such an awesome and extremely dedicated educational institution

My experience at Walden University has been rewarding and challenging. As an MSW student, I appreciate learning concepts I can apply directly to my work with individuals and families. The Skills Lab was especially valuable because it gave me opportunities to practice interviewing, active listening, and responding to client concerns. These experiences have helped me build confidence and identify areas where I can continue to grow. Balancing coursework with work and personal responsibilities takes dedication, but pursuing a career in social work makes the effort meaningful.

I believe Taylor Gardner demonstrated extraordinary collaboration by recognizing that my success at Walden depended on more than simply completing an enrollment application. When I met Taylor, I was still enrolled at another university and struggling to finish my term. The school was facing the loss of its accreditation, things were confusing, and I had fallen behind. I was also undecided about attending Walden or choosing an in-state college where I could qualify for a state scholarship. During our conversation, Taylor listened to my concerns and encouraged me in a way I hadn't experienced before. He knew this was my fifth attempt at college, yet he never made me feel like my previous struggles determined what I was capable of accomplishing. That conversation gave me the confidence to finish my term at my previous university because I wanted the opportunity to transfer those credits to Walden. Taylor also went beyond his responsibilities as an enrollment counselor by connecting me with financial aid, technical support, and academic advising. He helped get my academic transfer process started and submitted my information for a Prior Learning Assessment. Instead of leaving me to navigate different departments alone, he helped bring the pieces together so I could move forward. What stands out to me is that Taylor understood my educational journey didn't begin or end with enrollment. He recognized the importance of the work I had already completed and helped me explore how it could contribute to my future. I'm now attending Walden and continuing to make progress toward my degree. Taylor's collaboration made that transition possible, and his encouragement helped me believe I could succeed. My instructors and everyone I have worked with at Walden have been supportive and encouraging. I feel like I belong and am part of a community here! Applying was extremely easy to do and the fact that it's online is perfect for me. It fits my schedule perfectly.

Everything and every department that has to do with my education.

Great Experience and Helpful Staff

Its a good school . Have wonderful instructor that will help you out. Good student advisor.

My experience with Walden University has been truly amazing. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner through Walden, and I am now nearing completion of my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. What stands out to me most is the support I have received throughout my educational journey. There have been times when I faced challenges, especially financially, and Walden worked with me to help resolve those issues so I could continue pursuing my education. That meant more to me than words can express. As a working nurse balancing my career, family, and education, I am grateful for the flexibility and support Walden has provided. I have never felt that I was just another student or a number. Walden has played an important role in helping me pursue my professional goals, and I am incredibly thankful. I am proud to be a Walden graduate and soon-to-be doctoral graduate. I highly recommend Walden University to anyone looking to advance their education while managing life's responsibilities.
