VoiplyReviews of voiply.com

Text messaging doesn't work. Voicemail doesn't work, calls drop. Can't seem to do basic functions. Mac desktop app is clunky and un reliable. Can't call out to other numbers. signal strength is poor on app but strong on both phone and desktop.

I had cancelled service there because it got to be too expensive, especially with the exchange rate from Canadian dollars to American dollars. I was charged to return the equipment, and received a shipping label. The address on the label turned out to be the wrong address. I was asked where I got that address. I told them that I got from Voiply, and forwarded the email with the information. a day or two later, someone else from Voiply asked where I got the address. It seems that they don't talk to each other there. Then I was told to wait for the package to be returned, and that I could keep the equipment. Looking at the tracking information, it seems they "magically" found the correct address for the return and it was "redirected" to the new address, and that the item was "processed". It looks like they lied about me keeping the equipment.

I cancelled my account on March 20, 2025 because quality declined with the new platform they switched over to and the prices went way up. When I inquired about the price increase they lied about hiding the increases inside of the taxes and surcharges section of the bill. It turned out that VOIPLY was adding an additional $10 in surcharges for themselves, and they told me it was government fees. When I cancelled and switched to Ooma, VOIPLY sent me a confirmation of the account cancellation and then proceeded to bill me and charge my credit card for another three months. Each time I spent 30 minutes on the phone with them to get a credit and each time they said the account was cancelled and I would not be charged again. VOIPLY is incompetent and they are dishonest. Stay away.

just after one of purchasing the service i'm unable to use it and unable to login on both mobile and computer. on reaching customer support there is no one replying same goes for the support mail. feels like there is some fraud that has been done after taking payment.

Worst phone system I have ever used and customer service is even worse.

worse company ever......all they do is lie.....they also can not read english......they stole my number and there so call hd is so not hd as I got 1 call and it was scratchy as hell....there phone app also sucked and that was where I got the 1 call......they claim my number was ported but never got a dial tone & stole my number as I went back to my previous carrier and got screwed by them as well......voiply loves to explode people's head & lie so much.....tell them no need to reply and they send pointless emails that has nothing to do with issues I had

BUYER BEWARE!! Voiply's unlimited residential plan is not unlimited. If you use more than 500 minutes, they charge you 15¢ per minute. However, that is stated nowhere in their agreement. What is in their agreement is vague verbiage that allows them to charge you if they don't agree with your use of minutes. They are liars. Their unlimited plan is false advertising, as you are actually limited to 500 minutes. Which is ridiculously low! They will also saddle you with a bill they will not refund. Despite their shady business practices being called out. They should have a disclaimer, on the advertising, of how much unlimited really means to them and what happens if you go over their NON unlimited minutes.

Poor customer service. Long wait times when trying to reach someone to communicate with. I waited 36+ minutes with no response. I sent an email and had to wait 2 days for a response. They overcharged me for services and would not refund their mistake. After taking a monthly payment, they suspended my services the very next day and was unable to use my phone. They would not provide a refund for the time that my services were suspended. They took my money, didn't provide a service or refund for lack of service, let alone, never apologized for the error. Upon cancelling their service, they would not fully cancel the plan until they receive their equipment back at my expense. They would not provide a free selt return label due to their poor customer service or error. All this did was cost me money for services that were never really rendered. Worst company I have ever worked with. I would not recommend them at all. Suggest to go through another provider.
