The worst service I ever received from a business. As of December I am still waiting for order that I have placed in June.
I have subscribed fora 3 months service and I am still waiting for 2 orders
As of now they are not responding to my email.
I suggest not to order from this place, this is a scam or a small business run by kids from dad garage. Sorry that is how I feel about this business.
****** March 2022. the issue has been resolved one week after I post this review.

Slow, disorganized, and incomplete promo
My wife signed me up for a promo membership for 3 months. It took forever to come. The second shipment was way off as far as my taste. I never received the third shipment, even after contacting them about it and having my account re-opened. They also charged me for a month before the end of my trial. They did refund that. I would not recommend this service.

A Year of Disappointment
I had gifted a year subscription to my significant other for Christmas of 2020. Over the year, we are missing 3 months worth of vinyls, one month they only sent us two vinyls when we were supposed to receive 3 and the card included talked about totally different vinyls. Customer service has been terrible to work with, actually to be more specific, they are unresponsive. My partner and I spent a lot of time building up Spotify and Discogs accounts for VNYL to use as a reference of the music we owned, our wishes, and what we were into, I felt that the vinyls sent indicated that this effort was a waste of time. Over an entire year of 3 vinyls a month, I would say that we appreciate the addition of 2-3 records to our collection from VNYL. Here is the last bit of information I would like to share, as I mentioned, I purchased an entire year's worth of 3/month VNYL subscription as a gift. When my significant other used his gift he was required to enter his credit card number. Now that the year is up, they have auto renewed his subscription even though he emailed their customer service ahead of time telling them that he was not happy with the service and wanted to cancel but couldn't find a way to cancel on their website. Once again, no response from VNYL, they charged his card and he is now disputing the charge with the credit company. I love the idea that VNYL markets, but using VNYL has been truly disappointing.

They don't send you records
They don't send you records. I'm still waiting for my first record that was ordered over a 35 days ago. They haven't even shipped it yet and then they billed me a second time for another record I will never get.

I Wanted it to be good because I love the idea but its horrible....
If you are looking to get something you know then don't get this subscription. sometimes these albums I get people have 1000s listeners and its no where near my genre of music i told them. got 8 vinyl's only ever unwrapped 1 others weren't even worth listening to.

Don’t even bother
I have been charged eight times in the past 8 months for orders I never received. Only one of the eight packages were even sent to me and when I go to my vnyl account it says that was all I have ever been charged for but money is continuously being taken out of my account. They have taken $120 dollars from me and given nothing in return. Not only are they stealing money but their customer service is awful and refusing to answer. They also make it very difficult for you to cancel your subscription as you have to contact the said customer service in order to do so.

VNYL is not worth the trouble.
VNYL is not worth the trouble.
The idea behind VNYL is great - curated records to your mailbox monthly. This was actually the second subscription service I tried and I definitely stuck around longer than I did for Black Box Record Club, recieving 30 records over my 10 months with the subscription.
Things started out pretty well: my first two months provided albums that fit my tastes pretty well (not perfectly, but much better than my previous experience). Things went down hill quickly after that.
My third month was delayed by an entire month. It took reaching out to the company to get it actually sent. After this point, every single month was late and most of them took prodding for them to actually ship. I sent an email almost every month after the third one.
The music choices also went downhill quickly. I had my account tied to my Spotify and thought that maybe old listening habits (I put it on at work and had to please everyone) might be skewing what I was getting. But things didn't change after disconnecting Spotify and maxing out the "favorite artists" section. Perhaps my music tastes are too niche... but honestly the things I got were more like my "do not send" list than my favorites.
I was too late to cancel when I should have and used my final months as a test. I changed ALL of my "favorite artists" to ska bands. My last box contained Alternative/Indie crap, one of which has a trumpet on a single song.
Canceling was nice and easy but it did take three months to get the last box.
I would not recommend VNYL to my nemesis.
