The "curated" records are mostly garbage. You can only cancel by phone and the customer service representative takes you through a 20 minute rigamarole before you can cancel. Also, any unused credits are unavailable for use after you cancel but you you can't place multiple orders at a time, so if you miss a month, you basically don't get the records you paid for.

This worked pretty well for the first few months. They were always slow to ship, but the albums I got (I typically chose a vibe of something new I didn’t know and they picked the others), we 90% things I enjoy listening to. However, in late Feb/March, something has changed. I placed my order after being charged after my subscription ended. That was my fault as I should have pod attention to when my subscription was ending. I still have not received that order 6 weeks later. I immediately sent a message to cancel and was charged again. They said I didn’t call. Having a message in writing to cancel sure seems good enough but I guess not. Now they have an extra $80 of mine. I have not seen a shipment since the end of Feb, and honestly I doubt they are really still in business. Someone eventually answers the phone, but they are just providing lip service. They claim they have shipped the order and the post office hasn’t scanned it yet, but that isn’t how shipping works. When a label is created by a company, it sends a message with the tracking number to the customer. That means they haven’t shipped anything. I would not use this company. I think they are broke, spent a lot of money etc on branding and didnt have the inventory/artist list to make it. Too bad...I was psyched about the service for a few months.

I ordered 3 records in December of 2020, it is now march of 2021 and I still haven't recieved an estimated delivery date or the records

Unless you truly believe that any vinyl record is a good vinyl record, then stay away from this company. Why? Despite their claims, they do not really take your music preferences into account. They give you the option to state what you like and don't like and even what you do not want them to send you (in addition to connecting to your spotify & discog accounts). This seems great. However, they sent me albums from genres that I did not say I wanted and were not reflected at all in my spotify/discog accounts. Additionally, they sent me albums that I explicitly said I did NOT want. I emailed them about these errors. They said they would try to do better. It only got worse. I really wanted this to work. I was hopeful so I gave them several chances to get it right... They never did. You've been warned! PS: I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because I did get albums at a cheaper prices than if I had just bought them directly. So, that's something... Too bad they weren't albums that I would ever have actually spent money on.

BEFORE YOU ORDER! Please note that this service isn't intended to send you records of artists you actually like. I received a 3 month subscription as a gift and I feel bad now that it won't be as enjoyed as it could be. My problem is that I see other customers receive exact matches to their taste and records they'd actually want, so I expected that, but apparently they are "music discovery service" (per customer service). I'm unsure of this, but my theory is that most records customers would like to receive (those of artists they really enjoy) would be too expensive to include in so many subscription boxes, so they opt for cheaper, unknown albums under the guise of "discovery" rather than curation. That probably explains why some customers receive albums they want and some not; it's too expensive for the overall value of the box itself.

After 2 months and threatening angry emails and Instagram messages I got my records package. I havent listened to the music, u was even warmed up by the cute handwritten note. I felt the excitement and even gratitude in that someone spent time to write this cool note and pick out records for me. It was a rad idea but any warmth I was feeling was instantly trashed by disgruntlement that I wouldnt have gotten my package anytime soon without bothering them and they charged me three times and all the other stuff that shouldn't happen if your business is run right and you have some kind of respect for the people giving you money. I hope they read this review... you got a good thing. I would have been your customer had I had trust in you and your product. If you are unable to meet a monthly deadline to curate... then make the service seasonal...every three months...and then knock up the price 10 bucks. Communicate quickly when stuff goes wrong. Show some personal touch. . Be responsive.. my trust on this company is SO damaged by experience they gave me a promo code...gift of 3 vinyl records and I don't want it. O trust that they will honor it. Or if I use the code It will either take months to arrive, or won't at all or there's a string attached. I hate to write these words cause I'm sure these are people too, just running a business and there might be good intentions and stuff is just happening a lot. And maybe the dude who wrote my letter is a kind soul who smokes a lot of pot and loves to share music with other people and thought, why not make a business out of it. Gravy dude. Get it together.
