The process required by the Health Department to obtain a certificate requires state fee. This process is internal to the health department and we have no control over them. If you are living in the state where the person on record was born, you will definitely get faster service by going to the state office but you will have to physically go there and spend time in line. With any online vital records service, your application will have to be mailed to the corresponding health department and each health department has its own processing time and state fees.
