I ordered a birth certificate on the 2/22. I realized that the processing time was 3-5 days and I did not need it till 3/3 I thought that was enough time, well I was wrong!! I called and after sitting on hold for an hour( not an exaggeration) I was told it was not "picked up for processing till the 28". I know that some one will reply to me from the company and tell me that they have so many governments that they deal with, that does not help me. The communication is terrible the person on the phone was no help. This is the only time I deal with this company! If you need any type of certificates I would look for another route. Hopefully someone at this company figures how to fix their issues.!!

The worst company. They asked for all my important documents for my sons birth certificate and then closed the account. I do t think this company is real. I’ve called several time and never get through due to the high call volume. I’ve emailed twice no response. Very frustrating. Don’t waste your money.

I have waited 3 weeks and no North Carolina birth certificate. No response from customer service and I'm out 70 bucks. I guess I'll be driving to Raleigh. I waited on hold for an hour yesterday. This business is a scam.

Follow Up to bad review. No help. Received response from Vitalchek with phone number to respond to (only way to get number) Waited on hold for 30 minutes and the person just reiterated what past email said. The just forward info to LA county and that is it. LA found nothing for me and instead of following up Vitalchek said that is all they do is forward info to LA county. They were unwilling to help me or get more info from me to help find my document. Again I suggest going directly through Gov. agency you need document from and save time and money. Rip off!

They bate you on Ancestory.com saying a record exists. Charged $48 and no record exists. Then says ... sorry we do not guarantee a record exists. Not once is that spelled out during the purchase process. Its sad that you have to check on every company before making a purchase these days. This also looks very bad for ancestory.com if the support these deceptive practices. I am rethinking my account with them right now and will probably cancel it.

They deserve zero stars , they are nothing more then a very organized crime unit stealing identities and consumers money. They take your money double charge or even triple charge consumers and then simply cancel consumer orders , With no real way to contact any type of supervisor moreover they are also outsourced in other countries. Never trust any middle man agency. I have already spoke with an agent of The Federal Bureau of Investigations . My next step is contacting news media. I suggest all others do the same.
