Worst company ever to do business with. Unfortuntely, CT only uses them, wether on line or by mail. Be prepared for a long, drawn out, unnecessary process with incompetent people

Ridiculous excuse for a company. They charge over 10 times the actual cost of getting the documents and advertise express service which is actually 6 months. Do not get involved with this company.

This company is HORRIBLE!!! I ordered my birth certificate back in January 2022 and it is going into July and I still do NOT have it. They keep giving me the run around. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Go to your local county or city and get your Birth Certificate or vital records to avoid this headache. Avoid them at all cost!!!! I had to cancel my vacation due to not being able to get my new passport because I have yet to get my birth certificate. I have also contacted my attorney concerning this matter.

In the 54 yrs I have been alive my experience with Vital Check remains as one of the very worst experiences I've been through. I spent nearly four months trying to get my birth certificate from them. Submitted every possible document from drivers license, SS card, vehicle registration, vehicle title, bank statements, letter from the DMV, utility bills, cellphone bill, etc. Only to be told that none of those documents would work. They went on to tell me that it wasn't them that was refusing them. It was the vital statistics department of the state that I was born in. Ironically, it was only when I spoke to the head of vital statistics in that respective state that I was able to get anything done. The people at Vital Check we're absolutely horrible. I would highly recommend staying as far away as you possibly can from Vital Check.

Processing time on the state website is advertised as three days. On the state website it states the cost of using this service, "unless an issue is identified". It has been over a month, I still haven't received anything, and they have kept the money. I keep getting bogus errors over the same items I've submitted multiple times (with a paper trail on everything). Never, ever use this service. It is literally faster (and cheaper!) in the end to just go through the regular process.

VitalCheck, an apt name for a company that is guaranteed to increase your blood pressure. The tale of woe; *Requests completion of a single form, then repeatedly asks for more documents, without specifying the type of document/s required. *Time space between communications is at least a week. *Then, after using my best sleuthing skills to supply the right documents I'm told that the initial form downloaded from their rudimentary website is obsolete. *Thus having to get the form resigned by a Public Notary for an additional $165! Be very cautious about using this organisation which has a chance to redeem itself before I ask for a refund.

This was the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with. I ordered a birth certificate from them, received five different error emails from them, spent hours on hold, and finally, THREE WEEKS later, told them to cancel my order and refund my money. It was like dealing with a scam. I can’t believe South Carolina has them as one of their recommended sites to use. These guys are a fraud.

I ordered a death certificate from Vitalcheck which is (supposedly) a LEXIS NEXIS company. I gotta say, I'm even considering changing over to TLO and ending my LN contract my company has after this experience - it was that bad. I uploaded the required docs. Then I received conflicting information: 1. An email that says signatures are missing from an identity doc I wasn't required to provide. 2. An email that says everything is all good and my request processing. After being in queue for over 48 minutes, my "very important call" was finally answered by "Ari" who promptly HUNG UP ON ME in her attempt to put me on hold. DESPITE having my order pulled up at that point - meaning that lovely, lovely "Ari" had my NAME, EMAIL ADDRESS, and PHONE NUMBER - on her screen in front of her - literally, right there in front of her face -- she made the CHOICE to give BAD service and to not give her customer the basic courtesy of calling back, or resolving the question "is this complete" by email. The apathy at this company is palpably thick. Make no mistake - It was Ari's CHOICE to give bad service. That means culturally, there's no penalty at all for being incompetent. That makes sense from a company that can't actually staff in an appropriate manner (and not make customers wait nearly an hour) and that quite obviously cares not a whit about anything but getting fat government contracts - I called back and spent yet another 37 minutes on hold before getting the truly helpful Georgina. Georgina escalated the matter to a supervisor who confirmed the form on Vitalcheck's WEBSITE is WRONG and that a different form is required. I requested Georgine email the "missing" form she claimed I needed to fill out, and she kept repeating "it's on the website" and refused to send it via email. How the actual hell am I supposed to fill out a form that employees WON'T SEND after we determine the WRONG FORM is on the website. TOTALLY INCOMPETENT!!!!
