I went to my local provider in Sterling, VA. They preapproved my daughters for insurance. First they got the prescription wrong and I had to have them correct it. Then they tried to charge me too much. Then they only submitted insurance for 1 daughter and sent me a bill for the other. Tried to get in touch with the main office 5 times and no one ever answered or returned calls. Called local office and they said there was nothing they could do. This experience was awful.

Shady Sales Lady I recently visited the Vision works in Gateway Plaza in Avondale, AZ. Upon arriving to my appointment the people came in after me were served first by the sales staff. The eye doctor and staff were great, but then I had to pick frames and deal with the sales lady who had already served the people that came in behind me. I picked my frames and we are going over prices and she's checking out my insurance coverage and in a somewhat disappointing voice she says "your insurance pays more for your progressive lenses that I thought." She then proceeds to jot some more numbers down. I then ask for a breakdown she haphazardly gave some confusing breakdown. I then ask if I could use my coupon in the future and she claimed that I had to use it at the time of the eye exam although that is no where written in the fine print of the coupons or the letter that was sent out. I am super disappointed because I really liked the frames, but I refuse to give my money to shady greedy sales people who decided that because my insurance would pay for most of my frames and visit she would add on the extra. Shame on you Vision Works, I do not know who you all stay in business. I will be contacting corporate office and maybe I can order the frames on line and get a breakdown of the cost.

Ordered a pair of glasses online and they never arrived. UPS marked the package as delivered however my cameras never picked up a delivery. Now ups is investigating but visionworks says they will not replace them if they say its delivered. I paid for glasses I never recieved and visionworks doesn't take responsibility. Worst shopping experience I have ever had. Shop at your own risk.

After scheduling twice for new glasses I will not use Visionworks ever again. Most of the issues are based on incompetency of the staff. I followed all the online booking and COVID rules. The first was cancelled unbeknown to me, only finding out after I arrived. Ok, a little mess up, no harm, everyone needs a second chance. Then I made another appointment at a different location which was confirmed. Explaining all I needed was new glasses, I arrived on time to which they explained they needed a hard copy of the prescription. No one said this when the appointment was made, had I known it, would have been obtained. They knew about it but never did any leg work to get it from the same company. Frustration and disappointed with the staff and company after trying two times. Additionally, the staff is hassled and frazzled, rude to customers in attempting to hurry people out of the store.
