Not recommended for London
Went with Vision Global Wifi because best price for both UK and EU coverage. Order was easy, shipped direct to me in the USA. Return was just as easy, but 2 days is not a lot of time, so that was stressful since our return flight was delayed almost a full day once back in the US. We were in London for just over a week and I would NOT recommend this service if you're traveling to London. It didn't matter if we were inside or outside, at least 60% of the time there was no internet connection. The 2.5G network didn't work at all, it was completely dead. Thankfully, I remember the 5G and switched to that. We had 3 (three) devices connected and got nonstop warning messages about network overload. The puck is supposed to handle 10 devices. Finally disable that message. London coverage was completely unreliable and could not be trusted for our most crucial task - navigation. We then went to Dublin for almost a week and had a very different experience. It worked great in Dublin, both inside and outside. We could trust it would work when needed. Unfortunately, the experience in London could not be redeemed by the experience in Dublin as we had to pay for an alternate means of connection so that we could get reliable navigation. I also gave up on accessing any sort of website while inside and crossed my fingers outside. I had to check restaurant allergen menus and that was not possible with this puck as the internet would not reliably work. That was huge fail and actually resulted in us being turned away from at least one restaurant because the staff would not answer questions, they just kept directing me to the QR code that would NOT load. I was not able to test the e-sim because I didn't realize as a US customer my phone had to be paid off for that to work. That's on me, but I will never again do the e-sim unless my phone is paid for, which is unlikely since they cost way too much. I would've been nice if that was a * at the bottom of the option since all US cell providers lock their phones to their networks until they are paid for and it's not something new.
