We have checked the data usage for the device you rented and you have gone over the daily high-speed allowance of 500mb/day every day. In average, you have used approximately 1.5GB/day. The device you rented from us is "Japan - Unlimited Max", which has true-unlimited data with no data cap. According to our support record, we have spoken with you on the phone and emailed you back all your inquiries. You mentioned that you had your phone on "flight mode" and that means that your US phone carrier is not connected. If they did charge you for the international fee, it is either they made a mistake or you did not put the phone in "flight mode". How strong the connection for our WIFi hotspot will not reflect on your US carrier bill as long as it is on "flight mode". I do hope you don't judge the entire company by this one experience.
