Dear Customer, Thank you so much for sharing the detail of the process. There are different plans for Japan and you can pick up and return the device easily in most of the major airports in Japan. For the battery of the device is between 4 to 6 hours, and varies due to how many devices are connected and how heavy the internet is used. Portable battery rental is available for only $2/day. Also, in the future, if you have issues with the device in Japan, in most cases, we could ship a replacement device to you because we have offices there as well.
