The document review process with Insurance companies is unnecessarily vague. I would recommend physically writing onto borrower's policy, the changes that need to be made. So, when the borrower sends the docs the first time, Visio should not cut and paste a response. Instead they should take the borrower's documents, and write directly on the documents the changes that need to be made, then send back to the insurer. I've gone through this process three times and it is brutal and takes weeks, when it could be streamlined by Visio being specific and writing directly on the document so that the insurer sees the changes. For example, I could tell someone "the ice cream store is around the corner" but then they would need to follow up with multiple question, or I could circle the corner on a map and get it done immediately without hundreds of emails back and forth.

Good innovative company to work with. I could do way more deals if they had smaller balance loans. The money is a little slow to reach the client and brokers who bring the deals to get paid. Overall decent experience. I couldn't give a better rating because of this very important point. If they could get better with the communication when the loan programs change, a change in the every day way of doing things with our customers, better title companies and notaries to use, and money disbursements, they would be fantastic, because everything else is great.

Fee cost too much with some one has a good credit over 820. I think that is not good for strong investors.

Refinancing with Visio Several errors throughout the process with Visio that were completely on their end. They are very responsive which is a plus. Their underwriting took so long that they cost me an additional loan payment whereas other lenders are much faster and more efficient. They are not as competitive as other lenders and they provided me erroneous information throughout the process with regards to title/closing costs.
