I am extremely upset with Valvoline. I’ve been a customer for a while but recently when having a brake service with Pep Boys they found an oil leak. I called Valvoline to report the issue and told them I would have Pep Boys take care of it while I was in for service. I asked what the outcome of the investigation might be. She said they would contact Pep boys and let me know in 2 days. Now a manager calls me back 3 days later and said, sorry you had the repair done by someone else, we can’t verify liability so therefore we won’t do anything for you. I will never go back.

I went yesterday with coupon in hand. One guy I've seen regularly started the process and then I feel scammed. The second guy fast talked me. He went over gas treatment prices, mentioning 3 different prices. His last price said was 24.99. At the end I ended up paying 199.00 for a oil change. I absolutely will not be going back.

Had an oil change May 15, 2026. As always, great experience. Had Saurav and Yohan working on my vehicle with the manager Lovish present. Everything they recommended, they showed me why instead of just saying "you need it". Of course I will be back.

1255 E Altamonte Dr, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701 Valvoline Altamonte Springs. Do not go here. I was a loyal Valvoline customer for 15 years. Last oil change last week was an issue. After the oil change my oil light came on. I showed the tech and was told come back if continues. The light would come on everytime I would stop, went back same day and was told it must be the sensor is bad. Mind you prior to oil change light was not coming on. I had to drive the car to work and to take my MIL to daycare because of her dementia. I went 1.5 days later to get sensor check. I watched as they began to perform diagnostic. They drained 8-10 quarts of dirty oil so it appears new oil was added to old oil. I watched them drain my oil and asked to see it up close. I called Valvoline customer service and they were extremely helpful. Cue in manager from this location. He was rude to me, asked why I waited to take it in to get checked, well I do work and take care of an aging parents. Then he called PepBoys and was rude to them. He even told the manager of PepBoys that extra oil is not that bad for the car. I wasn't angry at first, mistakes happen and I just wanted my money back and the money I spent to rectify the issue. Instead I was questioned by the store manager like I did something wrong, he said I looked at the oil dipstick before I left and approved it. I am not a mechanic, I don't know what clean or overfilled oil dipstick looks like of course I agreed. He says the video from them shows them emptying my oil. I will ask customer service for the video. It is a shame because the staff that took care of me were pleasant. I will NEVER go back to Valvoline. I can't see what is happening under my car and I no longer trust that they care about the customer. Here are pictures of the dirty oil two days after the oil change. Will never go to another valvoline again after. First we get there and they don’t have my oil filter and said I’d have to go to O’Reillys to get one. Got that came back and then after a few minutes under the car comes back and says the plug is stripped. Was told that they tightened it the best they could and to call customer service number so they could fix it. We do that and the customer rep is horrible and kept trying to get me to call the valvoline that did it last. He said he was escalating the case to urgent and that someone would call me to get it fixed so we could drive it home as we’re traveling and 400 miles from home. No one from valvoline ever called me again. About an hour later we go to get something to eat, came back out after 30 mins and there’s a dinner plate sized puddle of oil under the car. So I knew we couldn’t drive it back home Found a mechanic on our own who got us in and all they had to do was insert a new drain plug and it tightened up fine. Horrible experience and like I said , will never go to another valvoline ever again.

I always have a good experience with valvoline. They change my oil and rotate my tires.

I went to the Palm Springs location ( 1763 S Congress Ave, Palm Springs, FL 33406) today for an oil change, and because they were rushing, they were servicing four cars at the same time. The wait was much longer than expected, and they did not properly secure the cap.

Initially had a oil changed in about 15 minutes - good experience as usual. Friendly and knowledgeable staff! A week after oil change I noticed a few drops of oil in my driveway... Went back to location in Oakdale, MN where oil was originally changed and spoke with Seville and Mngr Marty. True professionals. They assessed problem and found a bad o'ring on the oil plug. Replaced oil plug with a brand new OEM plug and changed oil (along with all of their inspections) at no charge. I know that I can trust Valvoline Instant Oil!
