I got a fraudulent $9.99 charge on my debit card from this company. Based on looking around, they seem like a scam with various fake reviews to make them look legit. Stay away.

Scam and waste of money They give you info about the car model only , which are general information. Everything else "Not Found" or "No Data". I am worried about my credit card now!

Hi Sule, My name is Andy, I am the Operations Manager for VinAudit. I am sorry for the trouble. Do you mind sharing the report ID or the VIN that you checked on our site so I can investigate? We will be more than happy to issue a refund if you feel that we have not fulfilled our part of the purchase. Feel free to respond here or send me an email here: [email protected] Looking forward to your reply! Best, Andy

It is definately waste of money and a scam. First Vin search returned in some records asking for the payment before disclosing details. After the payment, raport included LESS information than the offer did. waste of money, you get nothing, search elsewere!

Save your money I bought the report for a potential used car purchase - the VINAUDIT report did not give me anything a google search on the VIN did not supply, as a matter of fact - a simple google search gave me more info once I managed to get through a 15-20 min sit and click... So, if you are willing to do a few minutes on your own - you will get all of the data VinAudit gives you

I got a CCC One valuation that listed “comps” as justification for lowballing me on offer. Was using VinAudit to uncover the lies. It was working until VinAudit logged me out halfway through searches. No password was created & the company refuses any communication attempts (website ticket, email, phone, Tweet...). Not a word. Once they have your money, you’re dead to them. I can’t imagine the info provided by such children is legit. This is nothing more than a scam. No legit company treats people this way. I’ve disputed payment through my bank, cancelled the card and will be filing complaints with WA AG, CFPB and FTC. Save yourself the aggravation and learn from my experience.

Unacceptable! I was looking up my vin number for a car I traded-in mid last year to get the maintenance history. Not only did it have NOTHING listed for maintenance, but the last title holder was the first time it had been put on the lot 8 years ago. $9.95 for information about the car I could look up with a google search. You all should be ashamed.

Do not trust VinAudit. I just bought 2 used cars this past weekend for me and my son. Due to the cost of Carfax, I used VinAudit on the first one. The VinAudit only showed 2 mileage readings for the 2005 Nissan we ended up buying, one mileage in 2010 and a current mileage of "exempt" since it is over 10 years old. The VinAudit report also showed no accidents, flood damage, etc. The next day we bought a Carfax package to check another car we were looking at. We decided to run the Nissan we bought on Carfax to compare to the VinAudit report, and we discovered the Nissan had been in an accident where it was declared a total loss, and instead of having 144,000 miles as reported by the seller and showing on the (likely replaced) dashboard, it had 270,000 miles!!! We were very falsely reassured by the VinAudit report. Carfax is expensive, but when buying something as expensive as a car, you need accurate and detailed information.
