Hi Carole~ Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. Some pets will experience a detoxification, meaning their body symptoms will get worse during the detox, do not be discouraged if your cat was experiencing this, for this is a sign that the body is responding to the medicine. When this happens, our vet, Dr. Char recommends stopping the medicine for 3 days, then decrease the dosage amount and gradually build it up over a couple of weeks until the maximum amount is reached. Start with a couple of drops per day, each day adding a couple more drops until the full dosage amount is achieved. A lot of pets do not experience severe detoxing, so sorry that this concerned you.
