Vet did not disclose verbally or in writing that there was a fee for the payment plan until after I agreed to the service. They said it was on the back page of the info sheet I was presented. The sheet was presented to me laying on a counter, with no indication that there was more info on the back.

Constantly changing things i paid it off in full only to get hit with another monthly charge
Response from VetBillingApr 9, 2026
Hi there — we’re really sorry for how frustrating and confusing this experience felt for you. That’s not the experience we want anyone to have. After examining your account, it appears there were several months where scheduled payments didn’t go through successfully, which meant the balance wasn’t fully paid off at the time it may have seemed like it was. When payments are missed or only partially completed, the remaining balance continues forward — and that can understandably feel like a “new” charge if it’s not clearly explained. That said, it’s our responsibility to make sure this is communicated clearly and it sounds like we didn’t satisfactorily fulfill our obligation there. We’d be happy to take another look at your account with you and walk through it step by step so everything makes sense and feels resolved. If you’re open to it, please reach out to us at [email protected] or call us at 800-766-1918. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and we are sorry for the frustration this caused you.

Even though I called to update my payment information, they didn't do it and charged me because my card didn't go through. I emailed them and they told me to call, but it still didn't work.

Hi Estefanie — We are really sorry for the frustration you experienced. We understand how upsetting it is when you’ve tried to update payment information and something still doesn’t work as expected. For security reasons, our team isn’t able to review or update personal account details by email, which is why we ask that you call us directly. That said, it’s important to us that when you do call, the issue is properly handled. Our office is currently closed, but I’m forwarding this to our Payment Support team so they can look into what may have happened and make this right. Please call us when we reopen tomorrow morning at 9:00am Eastern, so we can locate your account and resolve this as quickly as possible. Our number is 1-800-766-1918. Thank you for bringing this to our attention — we genuinely want to help.

Payments sucked. Took more money than I had to pay
Response from VetBillingNov 9, 2025
Hello - we’re sorry to about your experience. Please reach out to our customer support team by calling 800-766-1918 or emailing [email protected] during our regular business hours, Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Eastern. I will also refer this to our team on Monday morning, so they may reach out to you first. From your statement it’s not exactly clear what happened. There is a $3.00 service fee added to each recurring payment; this should have been clearly explained to you by your vet clinic when you set up your plan, and it is included in the contract you signed as well. We apologize for any misunderstanding about how the process works and we’ll be in touch. Thanks for the feedback.

The woman that I spoke with was very rude.

We're sorry to hear you had an unpleasant experience. We checked our records at VetBilling, and it doesn't appear that we have had any contact with you in person or over the phone. Are you maybe referring to someone at the clinic who treated your pet?
