I was given a quote of 750 dollars and a pickup date. The day before they told me that the truck that was supposed to pick up my vehicle broke down and they would find me another driver. The next day they tell me they assigned me a driver for 2300 dollars, over 3x the quoted price. Obviously I declined that price and just coped with having no car for a bit in a new state hoping they would come through. Over a week passes and no new offer. Granted, they were giving me an update every other day letting me know that they were working on my request, so at least their communication is good; However, I cannot overlook their blatant and predatory bait-and-switch tactics. I ended up cancelling with them (paying a 208$ cancellation fee on top of a 158$ reservation fee) to get out and just have a family friend drive my car to me. The shorthand is to not trust this company's quotes! They WILL raise the price on you.

Although the broker I worked with was always very prompt in responding, there were multiple snags. The initial price I was quoted, ended up being leas then half of the final price. The needs we had for our vehicle were completely disregarded. This led to the first transport falling through resulting in an additional bill. Once the second transport was set up, the driver did not follow the instructions I had provided to Vertex. Overall, it was an extremely disappointing interaction. Ultimately, I wish I had chosen a different broker. I don’t typically prefer to give this type of review, but after being nagged multiple times to provide a review by the company, I felt compelled to be honest.

Worked on Sam getting my car shipped from Chicago to San Diego, he's been a tremendous help. Helped ease nerves and never had me hesitant or doubtful at any time throughout the process. Great communicator and can't thank him enough. Vertex are lucky to have him!!

Vertex Carship did a great job to help us out and Robert Austin was professional and pleasant to work with, looking forward to doing more business!
