Vertex CarshipReviews of vertexcarship.com

I was was told through e-mail the price was going to be $800 TOTAL to transport my vehicle , I called & spoke with Shawn Jhon to confirm the price he confirmed $800 for everything, I waited a week & called him again & the price went up to $900 with the price of fuel going up I agreed on the $900, He wanted $200 up front So I said I would Venmo him the $200 & I was told Venmo would be $208 no problem. So I specifically confirmed the total of $900to ship vehicle with him. Next day he messaged that the vehicle is scheduled to be picked up & I would have to pay the transport driver $900 , So beware the original price gets bumped up do not believe his bull shit. He does not tell you his $200 to confirm the booking is not part of the price you get quoted..

I was given a quote of 750 dollars and a pickup date. The day before they told me that the truck that was supposed to pick up my vehicle broke down and they would find me another driver. The next day they tell me they assigned me a driver for 2300 dollars, over 3x the quoted price. Obviously I declined that price and just coped with having no car for a bit in a new state hoping they would come through. Over a week passes and no new offer. Granted, they were giving me an update every other day letting me know that they were working on my request, so at least their communication is good; However, I cannot overlook their blatant and predatory bait-and-switch tactics. I ended up cancelling with them (paying a 208$ cancellation fee on top of a 158$ reservation fee) to get out and just have a family friend drive my car to me. The shorthand is to not trust this company's quotes! They WILL raise the price on you.

Although the broker I worked with was always very prompt in responding, there were multiple snags. The initial price I was quoted, ended up being leas then half of the final price. The needs we had for our vehicle were completely disregarded. This led to the first transport falling through resulting in an additional bill. Once the second transport was set up, the driver did not follow the instructions I had provided to Vertex. Overall, it was an extremely disappointing interaction. Ultimately, I wish I had chosen a different broker. I don’t typically prefer to give this type of review, but after being nagged multiple times to provide a review by the company, I felt compelled to be honest.

Quote was $699…. Actual cost for my shipment was going to be over $1800 if I really wanted them to schedule a driver. They kept telling me they had a driver available but somehow the driver kept disappearing. After about a week and a half of dealing with this I finally got a call from a different company that had a driver available and was straight up with me about the cost so I went with them and the car went out the next day. Vertex of course refused to refund the deposit but they waived the cancellation fee which is the only reason they got more than one star. I would never under any circumstances deal with Vertex again.
