Great table, beautiful wood, strong construction. The table itself is very smooth and feels great. I did a semi-custom 84"x42" table out of stained hickory. The table was ordered May 5th and arrived August 5th in Phoenix, Arizona (13 weeks). I was quoted a production time of 4-6 weeks and their website says shipping is 2-5 weeks for the west coast. Even taking the longest of their estimates, it was still a half month late with no hint that it was going to be delayed at all despite me emailing occasionally for updates. My design consultant was cheerful and prompt but I sometimes I had problems communicating with him and getting some questions answered. The table itself is a 5/5 but the process was a bit hard for someone like me who was very much interested in the details and getting it right.

I really love the work that VFT does - their quality is top notch. It can be challenging communicating with the company - they didn't always respond quickly to my questions and didn't keep me updated about my order, even after I asked them to more than once. My table and chairs, however, are gorgeous and I'd order from them again because their quality is so high. The furniture is like art!

Our overall experience with Vermont Table was great. They answered all questions and inquiries before purchasing without prejudice. They were very polite and the products they make are very high quality. The pricing was great for the work/product. We do not have buyers remorse even though we live 1,000 miles from their store and never laid eyes on an actual product until ours was delivered. There really was only one major problem that we had with Vermont Table. The table itself is very large (9'X4') and on the top of the table, if you catch the light in the right direction and look, you will see marks on one side of the table from the planer. Those little lines from the planer taking too much wood going through or the blades on the planer not being sharp - leaving marks along the table going the whole distance of 1/2 of the table. The lines are not noticeable to the regular eye and with plates and items on the table it should not be noticeable (only to those who paid for it and woodworkers). It was just a minor disappointment to an otherwise great table.

We love the products at Vermont Farmhouse table. They need some additional staffing in their Burlington store - especially on weekends :) For what we are expected to pay for these high quality pieces, one might expect more personalized service.
