Man sollte seine Bankverbindung an niemanden mehr rausgeben und nur noch im Internet mit Debitkarten zahlen. Würde es sogar Paypal zutrauen, das man Daten weiterverkauft!

The verifone terminals are awful. No real connectivity to the transaction, I suppose it depends on your sales software, but still? The terminals constantly freeze and break down. I feel like I’m using a 2g old Nokia phone. If it’s raining at the store, every third transaction will fail. Everytime I use a verifone terminal, I’m reminded of enshittification, technology going backwards, and stupid bourgeoisie c-class authorising useless crap because it looks shiny and exciting.
