Installed this 'app' for recent flight from Germany to Canada with BA. It commanded me to take a selfie, then trained the camera away from me without offering any chance to correct this. Wife spent all day trying to use it on a fairly up-to-date Samsung Galaxy. Got nowhere with the uploads. De-installed in total rage. We gave it one more chance for our return flight to Germany on 07/11/2021. Same problem as before with my selfie. My wife re-installed it, as choice of airline it gave her American Airlines or Aer Lingus, choice of departure airport was Fort Worth or Charlotte, both in the US. We are in Canada, flying from Toronto Pearson. I finally got through to BA's Canadian hotline. The guy who answered told me that we could check in online whether we installed the app or not. This contradicts BA's coercive emails telling us that we have to use the app or will be unable to check in online. To sum up, far far worse than just useless, it's actively damaging whatever's left of BA's reputation.

Utterly useless. Tells me I completed all the steps with green ticks. But BA still won't let me check in on line. No stars. Worse than useless. Just another method of advertising. Andrew

Useless. Can't get it to recognise Dublin for an Aer Lingus flight. (And difficult to use).

Tried to use this app. Refused to use the selfie camera on my two year old android phone (version 9). Useless. A complete waste of time. -5 stars

Utterly useless app - almost impenetrable logic - hopeless guidance/instructions - about waste of time. Why on earth does One World persist in flogging this app to their passengers - presumably the cheapest cost as clearly there has been little or no real development behind it. BIN IT QUICKLY - PLEASE BA

Complete and utter wastes of time. I traveled along with 2 teens so I had to upload everybody’s information and checks twice, once for outbound and again for return journey. It was absolutely no benefit at all at either airport. Complete waste of time as you don’t need this app and it won’t help you in anyway. I can’t understand why Aer Lingus are saying passengers need to use this application. Deleted app and won’t down load it or anything similar again.

Not only is this the worst ever app. It also can cause genuine panic in users. Shortly before my flight (Cape Town to London) BA sent me an email telling me that I had to upload data into verifly so that I could check in online. I was panicked as the email said verifly would ask (interalia) for a copy of my negative covid test. And as the UK gov site says I did not need one and there was little time left to get one I thuoght I'd better download the app to find out given that it claims to check you actually have all you nee, etc. After trying two different phones I managed to take and upload a seflie. But as there are no instructions I did not manage to work out out to input any data (in case anyone needs to know) I later discovered you actually have to click on one of the dummy trips and overwrite the dummy data in it). But I only found that out I had deleted the app. My advice to anyone thinking of using verifly is: 1, DON'T 2. Complain the the airline and Verify 3. DO NOT USE IT
